evolution of regional mawile

Just a Mawile hanging out.

My fakedex upload reminded me that I had a regional mawile concept, but I couldn't find the sketch anywhere. I decided to remake the sketch anyway. Mawile got screwed over by only having a mega evolution that was ditched, so a regional one would be ideal.

Specifically, a flat color reward, a reference sheet of his mawile character Crunchy. I gotta admit, it feels REALLY odd and somewhat nostalgic to draw a mawile character again, given it's been years since i changed my character Mary from a mawile to an original species. It almost felt like drawing her again. This was done in around 4 hours almost entirely in krita, with the text being the only thing I did in blender! Enjoy, ya weird salamanders.
