im working on trying to design a partner/gf for her (surprise surprise she likes agender fruity folks who can be both masc and fem :3)

I'm so excited to draw them together but also very very nervous!!

this was her first design, I have since transfered her over to digital life ^<^

September had arrived already, meaning autumn was just around the corner. Hazel couldn't wait; the leaves were already abandoning their trees and the familiar, soft crushing of the leaves along the forest path had Hazel sighing contently.

Today was a big day. She had volunteered to help around the village picking fruit in the orchard. She had risen early, earlier than she already did normally, and had dressed in her favorite harvest outfit. The apron-like garment had just enough ruffles to make a fashion statement without taking away from its functionality. Her scissors and small shovel went into her front pocket, aptly embroidered with a little pumpkin, and she checked if the two large pockets meant for carrying the fresh harvest were truly empty after her quick mushroom search yesterday. She wouldn't want to abandon any of the delicious fungi because of forgetfulness.

After making sure everything was in order she adjusted her wide brim sunhat, to protect her from the last rays of summer sun, one last time and was out the door.

Back at it again with another sketchy deity illustration! Maybe this will become a series though no promises sorry

This time it's Dimitri (name to be changed, I just dont know to what) Deity of Life, Nature/Wilderness, Fertility and Birth, Forests and Plains and Harvest. They are also in charge of the seasons.

Dimitri is genderless and uses exclusively they/them pronouns. They reside in the mortal realm in a sacred forest located on a remote island. This forest is rich with wildlife and plants of all kinds, some exclusively found there. There are gigantic trees and enormous plants, strange magic fruits and herbs but none of it is to be harvested by mortals without the resident deity's permission. Mortals aren't even allowed to set foot on the island unless they want a grand boon and even then they must bring a grand sacrifice in return. The smallest of these boons that can be requested are the unique fruits, herbs and vegetables that grow there to use as powerful magic potion ingredients that can restore fertility in soil and people. The biggest boon that can be asked for is one of the golden apples that grow on Dimitri's antlers. These fruits can heal any deadly disease and any injury that would be deadly. As long as the person who eats the fruit still has a sliver of life left they will make a full recovery. However Dimitri isn't keen on giving these fruits up willy nilly. Something of great value must be sacrificed to them. What that is im not sure.

Dimitri is wary of mortals. They don't hate them or feel ill will against them but they don't fully trust them either. They can sense that some mortals are hurting nature in their greed for more riches and they aren't too fond of it. So they mostly just keep to themselves, rarely appearing or providing much boons. Though some respectful communities have been honored with their appearance at harvest festivals in their honor but even for those it's rare.

Like other deities, Dimitri has access to spirits. They mostly use these spirits to watch the world for them and do most of the interaction with mortals.

Dimitri is most worshipped by small village farmers, hunters and expecting and planning parents.

The big cities have mostly forgotten about them...

The fruits glow was soft yet brilliant, clear signs that they were finally ripe and ready for harvest. Quite a bountiful harvist this year as well. The village's food stores will be full to the brim this year.

🙥 Roast Slink with side dishes 🙧

The Solorius Festival is a monumental celebration to honor the previous year's ascended Daevas and their service to humanity. It is not only one of the year's most anticipated events, but also one of the oldest. Its origin dates back to before the Cataclysm. It is a festival of communion, sharing, and appreciation. Wealth and status are set aside each year as families make diligent preparations in advance to honor the ascended. Many Atreians make their travel to their capital citys to immerse themselves in the festivities. One of such is to get a good share of the seasonal foods as gingerbread, filled cookies and pay a visit to the world-renowned bakers of Sanctum and Pandaemonium with their impressive cakes whose recipes are kept secret throughout all this time. Though for many Asmodians, where travel is unthinkable, more humble solutions will do, saving up for this very season and for their families and community to enjoy self baked goods and big portions.
One of such, is Roast Slink, optional varnished with Kikra Sauce to compliment the season. For this, freshly hunted Slink will be firmly cleaned, before braised with hot water, so the outer film of moist skin can be easily shed. Roasted whole over an open fire, till reaching the desired color of a good roast, the head will be cut off and used together with the bone and cartilage used for purposes. The skin will be plated, same as the finer shredded meat parts, followed by the forged tail tips, legs, rib and prime back meat. Delicious with its mild flavor and a texture most similar to Qooqoo wings. The taste and texture of Slink meat is approximately between Qooqoo and fish, most similar to catfish like Pujery. It also doesn't turn out rubbery, as Monitor can turn out, if prepared poorly. The succulent, juicy meat works great on its own, but as a season special, Kira Sauce is a really nice compliment, by color and its not too sweet or tart. Easily cooked with same Kikra fruit, sugar, salix oil and two parts of water, its a true delight.

🙥 Raydam Curry 🙧

The Raydam is an apple like, juicy fruit found in Altgard, that is more sweet and mild in its’s taste than source. The small bush likes to grow on sandy, meadowy grounds, where enough of the pale sunlight reaches it leaves and fruits, as well as keeping the roots warm.
Though surly it can be eaten raw, Raydam also makes for a very easy and good curry, to keep one spiced up and warm, while not missing out on a sweet touch.

Finished Paypal bid to commisions piece for an amino user.

My first bat painting, its a species mix of fruit bat and rafinesque big eared bat. The character has horror elements and it was fun to draw. Kinda had a down the last two days were I hated my stuff so this piece helped a bit.
