I drew this last year for the 20th of March, which is international day of happiness as well as the first day of astronomical spring! In 2020, it was also the day ACNH came out and I started 12 weeks of isolation, whew. Reference used: Link The flowers were (heavily) referenced from photos taken myself in my garden. Wren and this drawing both belong to me, please do not use.

Centre block of the New Zealand Parliament, Wellington. The parliament buildings were originally built from wood, and in 1907 everything burned to the ground but the library, which was built from stone and had an iron-fire door. The government took the opportunity to redevelop the legislature under a unified aesthetic; a design contest was held in 1911 and two blueprints by John Campbell were adopted. The design was to be conducted in two phases: the first stage was a neoclassical Parliament House and intended redesign of the Library. Construction began in 1914 and quickly suffered supply shortages due to the onset of the war; while it remained unfinished, politicians began moving into the building in 1918. Stage I was finally completed in 1922, but Stage II never started; consequently, even after designating both Parliament House and the Beehive Category I heritage buildings, Heritage New Zealand admits that taken together, Parliament "has little aesthetic or architectural coherence".

Parliament House underwent extensive renovations during the 1990s, including earthquake-proofing the structure by splitting the foundation and mounting the structure on what amount to giant springs. Guided tours are performed daily, although access to the public gallery in the house of commons is separate and is only available when the house is in session.

It’s spring so that means I have to draw at least one of my ocs in a sundress

Spring has sprung around the Mushroom Kingdom. Flowers are blooming everywhere, in the village, and around the castle. Colorful flowers bloom around the entrance, as Mario and Peach gaze around at the colorful site. The princess made a crown made from the flowers as a little gift for Mario. As Mario gets up to stretch his body, a Butterfly flew by, gently landing on a blue tulip. Peach looks around and see the winged insect. She smiled as the Butterfly sips nectar from the flower.

With many insects returning, and flowers blooming, and trees growing leaves, it looks like that spring is officially back!

A golden chariot flew in the sky, being pulled by two Pegasi covered in golden armor. A young Elf girl in a scholar uniform sat in the back of the chariot, her arms hanging over the edge, and a displeased expression on her face. Next to her was a young dragon named Spike. Spike was about 4 feet in height; his scales were a light mulberry, his chin and the underside tail were a light spring bluish grey. Spike's spikes were green, structured much like a mohawk, and his reptilian eyes were pistachio. Spike held a letter in his claws, reading off from the message.

"My dear Twilight, there is more to a young person's life than studying. So I am sending you to supervise preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration in this year's location: Ponyville. I also have an even more essential task for you to complete," Spike sat closer to the Elf girl, "make some friends!"

The Elf slumped her head down after hearing the last part of the letter sent by Celestia.

"Look on the bright side Twilight. The princess arranged for you to stay in a library! Doesn't that make you happy?" Spike asked, attempting to lighten up Twilight's mood.

"Yes," Twilight shot up, "Yes, it does. You know why? Because I'm right. I'll supervise the preparations as fast as I can, then get to the library to find some proof on Nightmare Moon's return."

"Then, when will you make friends like the princess said?" Spike asked, concerned about where this was going.

"She said to check on preparations. I am her student and I'll do my royal duty. But the fate of Equestria does not rest on me making friends." Twilight countered.

After I'd submitted my piece for the hot spring category, I was suddenly hit really hard with the inspiration for this piece. Why did I think 'Disk Driver' was a hilarious parody of 'Baby Driver'? Who knows. But I spent several days making this poster, based heavily on the Baby Driver poster. I even hunted down the font they used. The dedication was unreal.
