Androids, especially advanced or physically active varieties, have a much higher likelihood of being ambidextrous than human or mutant human characters do. Roll 1d10 on the following table at character generation, however, medical, technician, scientific and military android categories all gain +2 on the following 1d10 roll.

Meet Minnie and Mellie! These two run the library for the nocturnal citizens of Augerstone Hollow! While the night shift is usually pretty slow, these two keep themselves busy enough. Minnie is an astounding linguist, and often works to translate some of the books into other languages, often writing two translations at once (she is ambidextrous and capable of writing with both hands). Mellie not only keeps the place neat and organized, but keeps vigil over the restricted section of works. Melaavi is also an astounding researcher (and loves to push Minnie's buttons with silly bets). In addition, she likes creating little scavenger hunts for the youngsters when they visit throughout the day (or any of their nightime visitors, too!)

Because of critical strikes and called shots, a character’s good hand needs to be pre-established prior to any injury, especially the unfortunate amputation of one’s arm. Use the following table to establish the character’s dominant hand; or if the person is ambidextrousness which is common among excavators but only occurs about 1% of the time in NPCs.
