• The short story below is correlated with the image above.:

"My name is Catherine. I was born with a weak immune system. So weak that if I end up catching something, I could die. It's a curse I'm permanently bound to. Before I could go to school, I had to go to the doctor with my parents to prepare for interacting with other kids. I was recommended to wear a mask the whole day and could not take it off. Every school year, the other kids looked at me funny. Some spread rumors about me. Some even tried to take my mask off. The moment they tried, they ended up on the ground, covering their own face. I got mixed reactions from my teachers when this happened. Some didn't care and some reprimanded me. One time when a teacher punished me for not taking my mask off when answering her question, I told my parents and I cannot tell you how small that teacher looked when my parents yelled at them for putting my life at risk. I barely had friends. Not many people were understanding of my predicament and would sometimes ridicule me for wearing my mask.
Finding a job was tough. I wanted to pursue a career in fashion design, but my interviews did not go well. They either thought my mask was unnecessary, unappealing, or had trouble understanding me, even though I did my best to make my voice clear enough. I ended up getting an office job that thankfully didn't require me to speak too much. However, that didn't go well after being poked and prodded about my mask by my coworkers. While some were understanding, others thought I was full of **** and ridiculed me for it. I ended up quitting when the ridicule took a toll on my mental health and made me feel ashamed to wear this mask, even though I needed it to live.
As the years go by, it got worse for me. I was harassed everywhere I went with my mask by men, women, even teens. I could count on two hands the attempts to rip my mask off by random strangers. Sometimes they got knocked out by either me or someone else, sometimes the police were called. Fortunately, I was never arrested, but I was ready to lose my mind. My parents recommended I ignore the assholes, and I lost it on them, blaming them for my condition. I may have stepped too far with that, but ignoring doesn't always fix the problem.
My patience was disappearing, and my tolerance for other people was gone. I hated humanity. Humanity to me was an unavoidable disease that was putting me at risk. I had nothing but a desire to be free from that encroaching disease, finally take this wretched mask off, and smile for the first time in decades. But then, nobody will ever see my smile, except for me. It'll be like how it has always been. A cruel fate was handed to me, and my only escape is death. Ironic how much I want to escape, yet I want to live. What cold mortality."

I don't have any plans with this character, but I feel like sharing.

  • From 2020. Watercolor and India ink.

My first Skyrim character was an Orc sneaky-archer. My second was an Altmer pure mage. My third was Radari, a Khajiit two-handed weapons guy. After playing characters who I needed to be more strategic with, it was a lot of fun to just be able to throw myself into the fray and smash the shoulder buttons to attack.

  • Did someone call for a villain? The last mock up of a Humanity's Mockery character I've got to post at the moment. This is Leader, who fits their name quite well. They're a doppelganger like the others, though they take on the emotionless aspect quite handedly. They have a lot of plans, which they claim are to turn the doppelgangers into realities, but... Who's to say if that's what they're really thinking under all that calm and emptiness.

    ------

[Check out Leader on toyhouse if you want!](https://toyhou.se/4068373.guard)

    ------

Hope you like it and if you do, feel free to leave a comment, favorite, or even watch me! I try to post up art every day that I'm not off on vacation or something! And if you really like my work, why not consider commissioning me? My commissions are just about always open, and I'm happy to take on more!

  • “What’s this?” He picked the pot up off the table for a better look, amusement scrawled across his face. At first glance, it wasn’t much to look at: medium-sized, antique Bavarian style, pale pink, ornate in design if not decoration… Not exactly an item he would have expected to see in this particular house. On closer inspection though…

The entire thing was shot through with gold.

Athena glanced over from the bookshelf, finger marking her place. “...my teapot?”

    “The *gold*.”

    “The kintsugi?”

    “The what?”

“Kintsugi.” The book she’d paused on was half-pulled out and she hopped down from the ladder. “It’s a type of lacquer technique used to fix pottery.” The teapot changed hands, and a soft smile shone in her eyes as she looked at it. “Well, from a material standpoint. The philosophical… It’s seeing the flaws in a piece; realizing that it would not be what it is now had it not broken previously; making it stronger than it was before. It’s seeing the cracks, and celebrating the journey of healing.”

    “Where’s it from?”

She handed it back to him, returning to the ladder. “The concept? Or the teapot?”

    “Both, I suppose…”

“The concept is from Japan. One I’ve admired for a while. The *teapot*… I found it in a dusty little antique shop, tucked in a back corner, nothing but a bowl of shards. Looked like someone had simply swept up the pieces and forgotten them. I bought it for less than a buck, and put it back together myself.”

Said object was set back on the table with far more care than it had been picked up with, and Evergray walked over to lean on the shelf next to her. “It came out beautifully.”

    “Glad to hear it.

    ------

This is from a fanfic a friend and I are working on, where our characters on Star Stable are running around causing mayhem and occasionally actually moving the storyline forward. In this bit, Athena and Evergray are searching for a specific spell in her personal library. A teapot catches his eye, leading to this exchange.

Personally, I've always admired the practice of Kintsugi. Having been through some...*rough* times myself, there have been many times where I have felt like I was broken and not worth anything. Over the years, not only have I found this not to be true, but I have found that my experiences have been able to help other people, often in ways I would not have been able to without those experiences. I may not be more beautiful on the outside, but I am stronger on the inside, and those experiences are valuable (if not entirely pleasant).

  • So this was Final Fantasy fanart time again! One thing that comes off a little odd with this pose is it makes Squall look left handed, but if you ignore it, it looked better that way lol. The scanner was still being really weird with pencil drawings too...

  • Today's entry is the classic Immovable Rod, which... I can't remember if I ever actually handed to my players, or encounter in-game as a player.

I'm liking this particular one and how it turned out, Symmetry tool is quite fun, but I do have to admit it is a bit of a crutch. I still need to figure out how to render metal.

  • Weiss is my favorite character from the RWBY series by the late Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth. Mostly because she's left-handed, like me, and her weapon is a "magical" rapier. I like rapiers.

  • An image that was made for an Undertale community project over on DA by Arerona as the 5th Logtale Anniversary project.
The video has been completed back in Nov. of 2021, video can be seen here!
    https://www.deviantart.com/strikeyoko/journal/5th-LogTale-Anniversary-Community-Collab-897855053

While this wasn't how I wanted to officially introduce the skeleton brothers, I wanted to make an entry for Arerona's 5th anniversary Undertale video. <3

So thus they were introduced in this manner so that they could be apart of it!
This took many all nighters just to reach the deadline in time--I even got aid from an awesome friend Crudaka (on DA) for the background--JUST to be sure I got this done in time. HUGE thank you to them!!

As it should already be known, this AU s heavily based on the Monster Hunter franchise, Sans being a bow slinger for distance fighting and Papyrus wields two long swords (which is a two handed weapon but Papyrus is a very strong boi) for their monster hunts. Highly successful hunters of Snowdin, there's far more to these skeletons than meets the eye.

A secret behind their mortal lives that if known by the wrong beings could drastically change their lives forever.

  • I wasnt gonna say anything until I finished the thank you art but I’m just… my brain has stopped working? I am currently living out of my car, scooting by on the bare minimum moneywise. My car is constantly threatening to break down and leave me just stranded. Life has not been kind the past few weeks. Until the past two days???

Last night a beautiful streaming community belonging to Detune took my bank account from $2 to $200 just because I offhandedly mentioned craving taco bell during a chat discussion about dinner plans. And now I just won an apple watch from a work event? I… what is going on? Where did all this luck and generosity come from??? I’m ??? This is a dream right? This cant be real???

  • Hand drawn Ink art by William McAusland, writing by Colin Chapman

With their velvety fur, tiny eyes, squat builds, and overlarge shovel-like hands, bestial human moles are inoffensive, but this belies the fact that they are aggressive, constantly hungry omnivores who prefer a diet of meat.
They can make a bite attack (SV +8/ DMG 1d8 + Type A, paralysis venom) as well as use one-handed weapons, and unlike other bestial humans of their size, their over-large, calloused hands deliver normal punching damage, though they prefer to use their tough claws (SV +10/ DMG 1d8), and can combine them with their bite in a single flurry of attacks (SV +20/ DMG 3d8+venom). They are too small to use large two handed weapons such as halberds, pikes, chainsaws, battle axes, or great swords, or other sizable weapons though. Furthermore, firing a shotgun or high caliber rifle in the standing position will knock them back 1d3 meters onto their rump.
