She's almost done guys, I'm so excited! I did say that she was gonna be finished by today, but unfortunately, something came up. I'm gonna be making dinner for my family and I'm not gonna have enough time to finish the animation. I want to get her done and over with before I start dinner though so you have little snippets of what I have planned. I love her, she's so cute, I can't wait to show you off tomorrow! I decided to paint her with watercolors and cheap acrylics I got from the Michaels store. I am gonna put a fabric choker on her So she's gonna look a little bit different next time I reveal her. watercolors

This is a study I did a bit ago for a school project before I decided I was gonna go to art school. It was something that solidified how much I hate using watercolors. But now that I've gone into a painting class, I dunno. Maybe I'll try watercolors again and see what happens.

Just gotta find where I put my water color set.

Here are some spreads I've done to get ready for July in my Bullet Journal. Van Gogh watercolors with Sakura Micron Pen inside a Rhodia Goalbook. First time doing watercolor in this book. No bleeding with with Rhodia, I am very pleased.

two weeks ago my PC wouldn't boot up and had to go to geek squad for repairs. in absense of clip studio, i toyed with watercolors/markers and started a mask for a costume. it was a pretty nice crafting weekend

i did get really bad news immediately after that because the drive that had my art on it is the one that had a mechanical error. i'm waiting to hear if anything can be recovered.

Here's a throwback to a painting I did in watercolors of a fox back in 2020. I've been meaning to paint more animals and birds in general as I find them to be fun to paint, same with more scenes and plants. Characters too. All the things.

I was super inspired to work on some watercolors after seeing all the amazing watercolor works my friend, @Raichana does! This is my original character, Evanora. She is a clumsy potions witch with a heart of gold.

The next in my Dragonflies / Dragons and Blooms series is a geranium dragon.
For the red hues, I chose tuscan red, crimson red and poppy red. The greens are close to grass and apple green I think. I just went with what I thought might contrast well as I worked, I didn't go into it with color in mind, barring the red of the flowers.
For some of these, since there are so many colors and variations, I will probably do more than one in the future.

These dragons like to weave themselves into the flower clusters they are named for, being that their red scales look similar. During the day they will occasionally stretch out their wings to help with absorbing heat from the sun. Since they spend most of their lives in these clusters of flowers, they take on the flower's scent as well.
