Here is one of my projects based on the Schizophyllum Commune mushroom, but on an alien planet with large amounts of copper. Part of a much much longer story I have yet to publish but I'll get there in time, life permitting. I Made this in Houdini, Substance Painter, and V-Ray

This project means a lot to me, so much so I have a print of it hanging above my bed. I'll keep whittling away at it and the story on my patreon, but I'm hoping to really deep dive into it, life and struggles permitting. When I first posted it I hid metadata story snippets in the images but no one ever found them. Here is the one that was buried in this project :

I found the source of the signal emissions, such a strange planet. I'm no botonist but even I know a surface this copper heavy is normally a natural fungicide. All species on this planet seem to not only thrive on it, but have adapted to use it. I'm going to carefully study the signal after I setup some more atmospheric barriers, I don't want to strain the suit if I'm going to be down here awhile.

When I was a wee lass I was heavy into dinosaurs and soon discovered dragons. So I thought to make a dragon man, not knowing that D&D existed, not knowing that 'dragon people' was already a thing. This is an updated, redesign of Dartac from how I first imagined him but he's an old OC of mine from 20+ years ago and has become one of my most beloved comfort characters. He's not evil at all, just a drowsy dad, retired from the Wiley adventures we went on for so many years. You're such a good friend to me.

Brooding, edgy demi-god with existential issues. His eyes are a trademark trait of the Immortals (ethereal beast-like creatures) in his world. He's the first of his kind, being part human.

His story is something is part of an original project I'm working on. It's a story-driven, action-heavy, and existential sci-fi/fantasy concept; looking forward to expanding on it more. <3

The atmosphere of the room is heavy as Batogra gets right down to the nitty gritty.

I'm making a set of guards!

I've found that I love filling out the map with tokens, but there just aren't a lot of options for a ton of different looking guard types in heavy armor. I felt a nice, 10 token pack would fill that out for me! It'll eventually be up on my shop and also available to download for all my patrons!

Today's chapter doesn't really have any scene that came to mind for me to draw, so I decided to draw up Robyn's gun.

Mea Culpa is the gun she picked up from the sheriff, and is the gun that ended the lives of his wife and children. The "Mea Culpa" name are carved and burned by Robyn to the gun as a reminder of her action. It is a heavy caliber pistol that punches through pretty much anything, limited only by the rarity of the bullets. Currently she have one shot remaining, but she'll probably gonna get more before the end of the story. Who knows, we'll see.

The Shooter is named because it's basically a pea shooter. Standard issue town guard's gun, it fires black iron balls that have poor penetrations against non-flesh materials. At least the bullets are in abundance, but Robyn definitely only rely on this as her emergency gun.

Both guns uses white ichor as propellant instead of gunpowder, liquid substance that provides energy and explodes when ignited. Basically the Whale Oil from Dishonored, yes.

The glowing turns to heat. The metal of the safe door turns to slag. All the two citizens can do is look on during its destruction. As the opening in the door expands, a glowing green hand reaches out. Then a heavy boot. All of it connected to an armored man, his face glowing under a thick helmet.

I just think Pathfinder gnomes are really neat. As is wildly impractical but flair-heavy clothing. That is all.

I really really want to create and test some styles but Im really struggling with some heavy art block.
