  • Chibi knights! Technically based on the style of Fire Emblem: Heroes mobile game, which I was playing at the time I made these.

Tanner is out of date; I may update his art and then this file as a whole, though, there aren't the same anatomy issues as the main reference.

From left to right, Brandt, Jamison, Desmond, Alden, Markus, and Tanner.

  • This is Sereph. He’s an alien librarian. He has a ā€œringā€ rather than typical human/mammalian genetailia. He is actually genderless. Every member of his race has a ring. They copulate by pressing the aroused flesh against their mate’s ring and the two meld together causing intense sensitivity where the ā€œnubsā€ on the ring search out gaps to fill. (The nubs will attach to any skin and meld with other race’s genitalia, humans included, for a ultra-sensory experience.) The two remain stuck like that for a full planetary rotation. The impregnated Auaerean will be the one that’s body is more suited for gestation. Sereph is the only one of his kind with wings, and his name was self chosen after he left his kind. Contrary to one’s initial impression his kind did not treat him with kindness or celebration over his ā€œgiftā€ of wings. He doesn’t masturbate often, and usually doesn’t penetrate his ring, so this is an embarrassing pic for him.

I don’t draw him often, and I’ve never drawn him in color before. I chose a slightly less time consuming coloring style so I could get out more pieces sooner. I have a ton of things I want to draw, but I just went for this one when the inspiration struck to do so.

  • trying to learn "painting" styles is hard, but trying to look up a tutorial on how to learn it digitally feels impossible like no one ever explains that technique. i'll get it eventually. it just takes trial and error and study somewhere. i got this.

  • I fucking LOVED the Scott Pilgrim anime! It came out amazing!

    -Vague Spoilers and hyperfixation Below-

The Scott Pilgrim animated show was **Amazing**
It was everything I hoped it'd be! I love the graphic novels and this felt like a real love letter to the originals by Bryan O'Malley. The style was adorable, like it pulled a lot from the original concepts and art from the graphic novels~ This felt like perfect step up from the Live Action, leaving out a lot of the early 2000's influences to humor, which is a good thing, and bringing in the eclectic humor of the graphic novels with the rapid fire, quick-witted banter I always adored.

The animation was fantastic, creative and free flowing. The fight scenes especialy ruled. I can't imagine the choreography that went into animating such expressive, creative fights, like the Roxy Richter fight, which is by far my favourite fight of the series.
It established a comforting sense of routine between each day with Ramona changing her hair, and the pacing of information and action was perfect~ It never got too overwhelming, so I managed to binge it in a single sitting. I was really impressed with Scott Pilgrim takes off. It managed to bring new life and creativity to the franchise. I'm really happy that a new generation will get to see Scott Pilgrim, this time featuring more of the iconic MATTHEW PATEL!!!
