I fucking LOVED the Scott Pilgrim anime! It came out amazing!

The Scott Pilgrim animated show was **Amazing**
It was everything I hoped it'd be! I love the graphic novels and this felt like a real love letter to the originals by Bryan O'Malley. The style was adorable, like it pulled a lot from the original concepts and art from the graphic novels~ This felt like perfect step up from the Live Action, leaving out a lot of the early 2000's influences to humor, which is a good thing, and bringing in the eclectic humor of the graphic novels with the rapid fire, quick-witted banter I always adored.

The animation was fantastic, creative and free flowing. The fight scenes especialy ruled. I can't imagine the choreography that went into animating such expressive, creative fights, like the Roxy Richter fight, which is by far my favourite fight of the series.
It established a comforting sense of routine between each day with Ramona changing her hair, and the pacing of information and action was perfect~ It never got too overwhelming, so I managed to binge it in a single sitting. I was really impressed with Scott Pilgrim takes off. It managed to bring new life and creativity to the franchise. I'm really happy that a new generation will get to see Scott Pilgrim, this time featuring more of the iconic MATTHEW PATEL!!!

my first spoilered post

bit of a spoiler sorry. but i made these as freebees for my latest shop opening. I'm hoping this shop opening is better then the last few. I always get nervous about opening commissions and my shop. things just always seem to go wrong. either way i hope you enjoy.

There is a lot of gender fluidity within this post, so here you go. Recent art that I can't post anywhere else due to it being somewhat spoilery for an NPC of a campaign I am in.

Just two scrawny stubborn Sorcerers that would not admit they enjoy being stubborn together.

This Hallowed/Crystal Mimic was made with a wood treasure box as a base, adding a torque friction hinge so the lid stays in position, and sculpted details with Magic Sculpt/Apoxie two-part resin clay. After sanding and smoothing, it was painted with acrylic paint and varnished, the resin 'gem' accents were added after as a final touch.

The tongue is removable utilizing strong neodymium magnets in order to hold up the Trick-or-treat container and to allow the mimic to be closed to it's passive or defensive state

The Jack-O-Lantern featured in-game was recreated using just two-part clay and painted, but this time utilizing UV reactive paint to make the eyes 'glow'. It was hallowed out and used as a treat container for the mimic, with real sisal rope for the handle.

Inside the mimic's mouth is a cute 'easter egg' in the form of a Goodie Bag, an in-game loot bag containing various items, dropped from killed enemies only during the game's Halloween event. The orange string around the bag is real and not sculpted.

not only is it making it more difficult to browse through the recent art page than it already was to begin with, but y'all are going to have a miserable time going through and individually marking nsfw works if properly tagging and spoilering them ever becomes an enforced rule.

Spoiler stuff but this part of Cassi and Astria's relationship I always felt the song Neglected Space by Imogen Heap is kinda fitting and just wanted to doodle it

Eclipse Apprentice is the story of Saria, a young woman who's family believes they are descendants of the legendary White and Jade Faced Huli-Jing, a pair of powerful fox-spirit sisters. Those part of the Huli-Jing Family are expected to develop one or two powers of their Huli-Jing ancestors by the age of 13. Unfortunately, Saria, now 27 years old, has never shown any promise of earning those powers, and has since given up hope of having the same strength as her prestigious family.
When she is approached one day, by a dark monkey-demon with an appearance rivaling the great Monkey King, Sun Wukong; she suspects something may change. At least that's what she hopes.

I've been avoiding to post this animated GIF, since the "Creator Spoiler" option doesn't always take effect when viewed in the main gallery. So I uploaded it as a WebM (VP9) video so that it doesn't play by itself. The purpose of doing it this way is to avoid causing seizures to people with epilepsy, as the animation consists of rapidly changing images.

This was made last year, around the time of Space Leaper: Cocoon (before it went silent, shut down, rebooted, only to go silent again).

This is a screenshot game where an animation plays, and you take a screenshot to see what frame you got. It's designed to be two roulettes, one for the smileys, and one for the leaper girls themselves so that everyone can land on any smiley.

So last night, I watched the new Puss in Boots movie with some friends of mine, and oh BOY do I have some thoughts. (They're all positive-)

This is a fantastic movie. The art and animation direction is absolutely gorgeous, the story is well balanced, and the characters are all fun and charming in their own ways. The themes this film brings up are executed extremely well and the pacing was just right in my eyes. Taking time for emotional scenes but also knowing when to get back into the action. I have no doubt in my mind that I think Puss in Boots is the best film of 2022. 100/10

This is an absolute must watch, so please go see the film yourself if you haven't seen it, oh my lanta it is extremely good! <33

- You're still here? Well, here goes I suppose.

God, I think this movie managed to make me burst into emotions more than any other movie I've ever seen. I cried during the emotional scenes and by the time the film was over, I was a tearful, emotional mess expressing so much love for my friends, haha. The panic attack scene and Puss's fear of death hit really close to home for me as someone with General Anxiety Disorder and my own personal fears similar to his. Death is a terrifying antagonist and every time he appears, the atmosphere becomes more anxiety inducing for Puss and myself. The other new characters are great too. Perrito makes a great foil to Death despite his incredibly sad backstory and is just generally such a warm hearted optimist that I was more than happy for him to stick around the final team in the end. Goldilocks and her adoptive family of bears all have a really great character arc revolving around found families that was really great to see and 'Big' Jack Horner was such a riot. It's really refreshing to have a villain be a villain just because and give him no redeemable qualities while still making him entertaining to watch. Props to the writers and everyone on board of production man. They made something incredibly special with this film.
