Yeh Keep in mind that size also matters too, and you can play around with certain shapes to get different looks for your characters.

Despite these two pieces being nearly a decade old at the time of posting this, I still like them quite a lot. I’m not sure how, but there’s a lot about them that still hold up. The eye’s shading in particular is something that I’m not even sure how to replicate, though maybe if I unearth the PSD I’ll find out. I should remake these sometime and bring back some old techniques!
