This turned out less halloween-themed than I originally intended, but it had a lot of fun working on this, even if it took me ages.
Look at me finishing a seasonal pic within the intended season!

I tried putting in a lot of care with materials/textures, and not making the picture too dark overall, since it's a lot of dark tones on dark tones.

No biney! Fluid of gender!! uvu ♥
Ahh I've wanted to do a better side by side of Syren sporting their masc and fem looks for so long. Took this as an opportunity to practice materials and clothing, namely glittery fabric and techwear.
_Also a random Syren fact nobody asked for: The more curly hair is actually their natural look and they just lazily straighten some of it most of the time._No biney! There's a lot of things i'm not satisfied with this, buut here are things i'm proud of too so it balances itself out. cel shading is not usually my jam, i like blending too much.

I thought I'd give it a whirl and see what kind of operator my son would be. Healing defender with a tacky codename that's actually the exact opposite of how he is behind the furrowed brow :'D He leads a guerilla scouting unit called "Roamers". This was fun to struggle with, I haven't really designed or even drawn tactical gear/clothing... So creating something that would fit the Arknights setting was a nice challenge! Also made a "fake" recruitment screenshot from the game for fu..I thought I'd give it a whirl and see what kind of operator my son would be.
