• The rogue Galilean interceptor Parabolis prepares to dock with the RNT missile torch Rain of Kenya under conditions of asylum. Following standard rendezvous protocol, the Rain of Kenya deploys multiple combat drones as the Parabolis approaches. The drones provide an active defense while the two military spacecraft are compromised by their near proximity. Saturn’s icy moon Enceladus looms beneath them. 2373 A.D.

_"The Worgen Huntress realized a moment too late that she was being followed. Within mere seconds, the tall mysterious stranger instantly appeared out of nowhere. In a passionate manner, he snatched her around and carefully pinned her back slightly against the rocky ivy-covered tunnel wall. He gently placed a long, gnarled index finger under her furry chin to subtly shift her gaze up to his. "Fancy meeting you here," he said eagerly with a delighted grin. Pheonixx could feel herself blushing as she shyly tilted her canine-like head in a flirtatious manner. This mysterious stalker was no stranger at all, but in fact her beloved husband, Sneaky Pete."_

Every time I ride through the secluded tunnel in Korthia; I naturally imagine Pete and Phe undoubtedly having a secret rendezvous there. Initially, a different camera angle was tentatively planned for a more private and enclosed feel. Ultimately, that idea was scrapped for I wanted to indicate a more proper understanding of the scene's location.

The glowing mushrooms are my own doing, as they do not glow in-game. I sincerely feel as if this was a missed opportunity for Blizzard to add a little more personality to the fungi of Korthia. There is, after all some other plant life in the area that does give off a gentle glow of sorts.

I primarily produced this to shake some of the rust off that might have possibly formed during the turbulent month and a half-long struggle with my last artwork. The art itself isn't what inadvertently caused the personal struggle, but the mental state I was in at the time. My mental state is indeed healthier, but even this specific piece took longer than it should typically have. There are 3D WoW Blender artists, who are just as good as I am if not more superior. They produce 4 to 5 works in the time it typically takes me to make one single piece. This disheartens me to no end, as there are so many creative ideas floating around in my overactive brain, and I can't get them out fast enough.

Someone indicated this piece has a Halloween feel, I do agree as Korthia gives off autumn vibes.

  • So, what the hell do your characters do if they get unexpectedly separated while on operations? Like say the barge they were on gets nuked during the night by a mysterious drone and you all float away on different bits of debris?

What you need is an agreed upon place to meet up if **** gets complicated. Like a nearby barter town, prominent ruined landmark, or some spot where you’ve stashed spare gear.

Art from page 75 of Excavator Monthly Compendium for an article on the above noted circumstance. Learn more about this 260 page source book here: [https://www.outlandarts.com/TME-excavator-monthly-compendium.htm](https://www.outlandarts.com/TME-excavator-monthly-compendium.htm)

As promised a Hallow's End themed piece, that surprisingly got done before the event ends!

I had wanted to complete this piece by the first day of Hallow's End, that clearly didn't happen. Typical me, I kept nitpicking little things here and there. My worst nitpick was surprisingly Pete's hair, LOL!! As mentioned before, this chick remains an extremely slow artist. Wishing that I could be like all the artists here on DA and Twitter, popping out beautiful art pieces left and right. Even when younger, I'd devote days to a single art piece, if not weeks.

Maybe that extra pickiness with this one is the fact that Halloween has always been and still is my favorite holiday? Like with all holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.), I really don't get to celebrate All Hallows' Eve anymore. My genuine love for Halloween comes from the fact that it is the one time of year I get to dress-up and be anyone but myself. At least there is still my yearly Halloween tradition of collecting a black cat-themed item.

There is no fancy story with this piece. Just Pete and Phe having a secret rendezvous during their favorite time of year, as an unnoticed Mudwiggle helps himself to some tasty treats. Pixel: Worm Candy Corn Pepe also literally "ninjaed" his way into the piece taking Cap'n Crackers place for this one. Don't worry, Cap'n Crackers is sure to make another appearance before too long. ;)

We have some firsts for me with this one too. Those would be, the nighttime starry sky and flames! Making stars is thanks to Belvane and her wonderful Twitter streams. If it wasn't for her, I definitely wouldn't learn Blender as quickly. I learned how to make the candle flames from spheres after watching an online tutorial, much easier than expected too!
