Despite being a widely propagated subspecies, there isn't a history of malkine field operatives in the agency, making Saphlin somewhat unique. The coordination of the _E.P. Joss_ bust in 2367 set them apart from their peers, but the _Station 46 Hostage Crisis_ on _Monad_ _Regio_ made them an agency hero. Saphlin's quick action resulted in the rescue of 3 operatives and 57 civilians in the thwarted attack. Now known throughout the Neptunian sphere, Saphlin continues their career advising on strategic matters within the agency... and occasionally weaseling their way into missions of interest.

Harpsai- The 43rd of 74 transhuman subspecies recognized by the Tichordia Concord. These transhumans are best recognized by bluish skin pigment, reflective white hair and mustard biosynth corneas. The population is dispersed mostly in the Neptunian orbits and Trojans, Haumae, Pluto and a small community in the asteroid belt. As of 2370, the total population is estimated at 75,000, making Harpsai somewhat rare amongst the general populace.

The subspecies is sexually monomorphic, induced hermaphrodites. All Harpsai are born female, though the process through which females are induced to males is a culturally sensitive subject. Several hundred Harpsai had given birth prior to the Tichordia Concord, therefore the population is considered self sustaining and there are currently no labs producing Harpsai. As of 2373, just over one hundred subspecies members are born annually, though this number is expected to increase drastically when third generation Harpsai reach maturity in the 2380s.

While the Harpsai community is proud of their genetic heritage, they are not unified by governance or religion. Like all members of the Concord, they maintain a cultural embassy in the Kuiper Alliance.

Grenni is Unity Knight, which is essentially a special military officer who promotes the interests of the monarchy, a political officer corps within the force. Grenni is less concerned with the latter portion, instead focusing on her military career. As a member of one of the most influential families in the Jovian system, Gren is positioned to have a major impact on human affairs.

My favorite little explorer. I remember watching the Mars Exploration Rovers launch. I have vivid memories of my father expressing how little we knew about Mars when he was a kid... and at that time we had not one, but two rovers traversing the Martian surface. I feel like Spirit gets the short end of the stick sometimes, but Opportunity managed to capture the public eye when she went quiet... and I rather enjoyed the sentiment I saw on the internet. I wish we had that much investment in every exploration mission.
