• Another Fundraiser commission, this time for Serandite of their lady bat version.  I really love this style of commission and it's awesome getting feedback from all my patrons when they see the WIPs and finished pieces before anyone else! Art ©  temrin Character belongs to  serandite

  • Prompt: Cosmic Horror Hero (body archetype) Sorcerer
Last one for semester 1, not 100% on the colours yet so I've got to go back and tweak it. Super thankful to TA Margo again and my classmate Faith for giving me great feedback and ideas.

  • I'm working updating my art style and Luka & tychon's looks!! finally making some changes to how I draw to help modernize it and clean it up some. I just need a new look.

changing your style up is like changing your handwriting though - it's really hard. it still looks like "me" in my initial tests but feedback from pals and my husband has been good.

hoping to drop some new art in that style by tychon's birthday on July 14th, or thereabouts

  • FINALLY!!! I completed the reference sheet of my boy, Kyro Lumbre.

This redesign of Kyro and his mate Aurora has taken me over a year since I started making their line drawings in August 2021. The countless hours drawing them and going back and forth with various iterations and then working on rendering each individual shot by adding textures, shadows, highlights, and undertones.

I created Kyro around the same time as Aurora in February 2013. 10 years ago! Can’t believe it’s been a decade since then and how far they have come. They started out as feral, quadruped dragons at first, but then I changed them to an anthropomorphic dragon. Kyro initially had yellow glow marks on him before I removed them. This was the most significant redesign of my OCs that I made. I had wanted to complete both ref sheets at the same time; however, I was really busy working on Aurora and finishing her for her 10-year mark in February 2023. Afterward, I started right away on Kyro and rendering his shots, but something major happened that had to take priority. My family was in a car accident in mid-March on their way back on the highway at night. The car was totaled and my mom had a fractured wrist, but thankfully they made it home alive and I did everything I could to help her around the house and to cover her at work. She’s doing better today and can move her wrist a little, but there’s still more for her recovery. All this time, the only way I could relieve the stress that I felt in the past 4 months was to draw.

Now that I finished with Kyro and Aurora, I can take a rest for now before moving on to making art of them together. Thank you to everyone who watches here! I really appreciate that you like my art. It really means the world to me as I try to get back into drawing and posting and expanding on other platforms. Let me know what you think about this piece, I’d really appreciate the feedback.

  • I had the pleasure of getting some feedback on some of my art from the wonderful Belvane on her stream last night. This is the result of one of them!

    Original for comparison: www.deviantart.com/therealshan…

The changes were mostly small (aside from the cropping) - fixing Illidan's sash texture, fixing Shanarra's bowed upper arm and too-long forearm, increasing the light on them, improving the glows on Illidan's tattoos and eyes, improving Shanarra's expression, and reducing the contrast of the background elements to make them really pop (namely his wings).

I will always love the original, but this version is so much better at conveying the story and emotion between the characters <3 Please check out Belvane over here!

    Shan's hair - ceremonial hair by Kismetsims. Illidan's hair - Natalia-Auditore.

  • This was my first commission that did not come from someone in my network, and was definitely out of my comfort zone! They asked that I draw their boyfriend's Mandalorian OC and allowed them to get the image printed on a notebook for him. I got excellent feedback, and got to try out drawing some Star Wars fanart, and a gun. Things I do not typically do.

They paid for simple shading and I threw in a simple background, so no super detailed rendering. I ended up having a friend that plays an online game for the series get me some references of the gun so that I could make sense of drawing it, since none of the references I found online were detailed enough.

  • Happy birthday to me! First of two projects I did in preparation for my birthday, this one I guess you could call a gift I made to me to others.

Starring Maribelle enjoying some nameday cake, unaware that some of her friends invited themselves here, to their annoyance and joy depending.

My actual birthday gift to myself is gonna be posted a bit later, its something I'm quite proud of and that I wanted to be able to draw for a long time.

Hope you enjoy and am always welcoming feedback!

  • **This piece was originally completed and published to DeviantArt on May 19, 2021.**

That one gosh darn guildie of mine keeps throwing ideas at me, at this rate I will never witness the end of my "project" list. At least it keeps me out of trouble. :D

Rumor allegedly has it that Sneaky Pete often spends time in the Forgotten Crypts behind Karazhan when not stalking...I mean protecting his wife from the shadows. Though here Pete somehow has found himself in the magnificent halls of the eerie tower, where he runs into someone familiar. Usually, Sneaky Pete stabs first and asks questions later, but here he hesitates for this frightened man looking back at him is familiar...

Karazhan undoubtedly remains my favorite place in all of the World of Warcraft universe! Therefore, when it was suggested to do a piece of Sneaky Pete run into his past self, I seized the chance. Clearly, the core focus is not Karazhan itself, but that didn't hinder me from spending time cleaning up the unique architecture and textures. Just like the previous piece completed, this took me a total of seven days. Pete's living self needed some serious TLC. He was merely a ghost in previous works, thus the necessary spit shine I ordinarily do hadn't happened until now.

Before my old lady brain forgets, at one point the struggle with this got real, and that sorely tempted me to give up. Three people helped to give me the feedback needed to bring this piece together, and I just wanted to say thank you.

The next piece on the agenda won't be shared here until the end of June as it is part of a secret exchange. Though there is still a list broad of other planned ideas in the works too. ;)

**Edit** - Made a small change to this piece by adding a vignette. I had meant to test applying one, but it slipped my old lady brain. =P

  • Part 1 of 3! Sequence showcasing Maribelle stumbling upon Sheograth10 's little scientist Amy and it would seem she is not welcome in her house. But in an attempt at punishment, Maribelle does not realize that she is doing exactly what Amy likes.

Read a little tease of the situation in the description of the image on my DA
