no osmes today. this time, it's someone else's oc. this was for a secret santa event in december of last year! the character belongs to @ life-merge-official on tumblr. i never tried integrating 3D-rendered images into 2D art before i did this piece. i made the funny little star objects in blender, rendered them in cycles, then edited them in CSP. i saw some art pieces that combined the two mediums in incredibly cool ways and i wanted to try doing it too!! this was kind of a simple attempt but next time i wanna do a much more complex integration of 2D and 3D >:)

third attack of the year!! i had soooo much fun with this one and i think it shows in the final product. i channelled my love of vintage psychedelic rock band posters really hardcore into this one. i am always trying to pull from 60s/70s graphic design for the aesthetics in my art but i love it when i get inspired to delve fully into it like this! i felt as though the character's energy fit with it well, so i leaned into it. moth imagery, pretty colors, humans + nature mixing together, etc. basically, i sat down at my desk to draw and then 6 hours later i woke up in a ditch in laurel canyon and heavily distorted guitar feedback was blaring in my ears and also i had this drawing. anyway this character design is extremely me-core, and faelyn herself seems really lovely. her passion is really infectious character belongs to @/korawiin https://artfight.net/attack/8049747.perfect-day

hi, i'm new here. not sure how this site works yet, but this place seems pretty cool. i like how flexible the upload format is! i'm Mortis and i like writing, drawing and 3d modelling cool characters and making comics, games and other kinds of narratives with them in it this is Osmes. ozzzzz messsss. they are one of my ocs, and they use they/them. they're a bit of a jerk. you'll probably be seeing them a lot because i LOVE making stuff with them as the main subject :) this isn't their main outfit, it's one of the fancier kinds of outfits that they like to wear. they own a LOT of clothes. so many clothes. mostly to soothe the crushing sadness that they feel on the regular u_u

i've been planning a big trip so i haven't been making much art lately. as a result, i'm posting another old piece today. i made this in july of 2022 for artfight! it's not perfect, especially anatomy-wise, but i'm still pretty happy with it. besides, i learned a ton while making it, and because of that, it's a big achievement for me :) the snail bunny character (slimes) belongs to [littleslime](https://artfight.net/~littleslime) on artfight/[strayartwork](https://twitter.com/strayartwork) on twitter! they make banger art btw, i've always loved their stuff ❤️ this was made entirely in blender. if i remember correctly, it took about 8 hours to render all 150 frames for the turntable. i just went to sleep and when i woke up it was finished👍

it's not easy trying to do comic speech bubbles with characters who don't emit noise. osmes communicates telepathically with others most of the time, and to imply that they're sort of, speaking with their brain, this was the solution i came up with. giving your characters unconventional anatomy is cool in theory, but you've got to be prepared to suffer whenever you draw them, especially if you're trying to keep things consistent. that being said, osmes is probably my favorite thing to draw :)
