  • This is the sibling of Cowspot, previous cat I posted. She's a medicine cat apprentice!

The pouches are intended to be closed with cobwebs; although I might redesign the pouches to have the 'lid' be cobwebs when needed instead of them being somewhat regular bags that are closed with them

  • Meet Violante Malena, my child, OC for a RWBY role campaign. She is a lizard Faunus from Vacuo, likes hitting on pretty women, loves travelling and trying the local dishes, and hates racism and bread. Inspiration for this character came from the legend of the lizard of La Malena, AKA lizard of Jaén, a local legend from a city in the south of Spain. The lizard of Jaén was a huge monster that ate people's cows and sheep until someone got it killed. It's not clear who and how they did it: some say it was a shepard who fed it bread with gunpowder, other say the shepard hid gunpowder inside the carcass of a sheep, and others say it was a knight with his spear. Either way, they all agree on the lizard exploding in the end xDDDDD So Violante's semblance consists on making objects explode and her weapon is a spear that can turn into a whip. Now, let's see the details of this reference:

    a) Front full view

    b) Lateral view

    c) Back view with detail of her tattoo (c2)

    d) Detail of her emblem

    e) Weapon of choice: a spear that can turn into a whip (e2), it can also be folded in two (that's how she usually carries it when she's not fighting)

    f) Some details of the default outfit, including the belt, boots (f2) and top (f3). Most of her tops are backless, for obvious reasons.

    g) Detail of the head, make-up and hairstyle. She always wears make-up: a purple shade over her eyes and vivid red lips.

    h) Schematics of how her spines move according to her humour:

h1) Low spirits, sadness, tiredness, sickness, spines go down

h2) High spirits, she's inspired, happy, or hitting on someone, spines go up

h3) When she is tense, or hostile, or feeling unwelcome, or wants someone else to feel unwelcome, spines go up and to the sides as if she's trying to look bigger and scarier.

    i) Colours used. Hope the scanner and the screen doesn't mess this up. Anyway, her colour is violet, so it's basically purples, violets, pinks and some gold and white for accents.

  • Been in a bit of a sonic mood and I decided to revamps some somewhat older oc's that have been rattling in my brain for a while.

Autumn Lock: A recently graduated witch who's left home to find her own path. Taking the first chance she got to leave her locked up kingdom to explore the world by becoming the swamp witches apprentice. Along the way she met and befriended Zeric and the two decided to travel together, to accomplish their dreams.
Personality wise Autumn is genuinely an optimistic, open minded person who wants to help others. Holding a wide eyed, dreamy outlook of the outside world, especially in comparison to her suffocating hometown. A bit of a stickler for the rules, she and Zeric tend to butt heads about conducting themselves and morals.
    ( Autumn: "it's stealing!
Zeric: Doesn't count if it's from bad guys.)
Though when push comes to shove she is extremely trustworthy and will come through in the end.
Powers: Autumn is a witch and practices magic. Her main spells are summoning mushroom bombs, energy bolt's, summoning mushroom helper's and potions that have an array of effects. That she sometimes mixes up or forgets.
Her main weapon is a morning star staff that she summons threw a spell.

Zeric Storm: A zeti adventurer that was adopted by an older couple of farmer's. With the only thing given to him by his Zeti parents being his name, Zeric has 0 interest in his Zeti lineage, saying he's just a different breed of bull (his adopted parents are both cows), cursed with the best looks in the family. Yet he still wanted to see what was out there and after some long night talks with his folks, was sent to train with an old colleague his ma knew back in the day. Hence the start of his apprenticeship as adventure and knight, alongside meeting Autumn. After graduating, he and Autumn teamed up and began adventures of there own.
In terms of personality Zeric is a cheeky, fun loving, if not cocky guy who loves a good time. Always ready for a good time or to lend a helping hand to those in need, especially if it's Sonic who needs help kicking Eggmans butt. Can be a bit mean without actually meaning to, as he grew up with thick skin. Heckling was normal back home and with his teacher, but it took a while for him to realize that's not the case everywhere.
Powers: Zeric hold all of the typical Zeti abilities (Energy projection, Enhanced durability, Enhanced speed, Enhanced strength, Enhanced jump, Flight, Longevity, Magnetism manipulation) With the ability to create metal weapons.
Zeric can also wield a sword.

    ----
Anyway i hope you guys like them!

  • [ID: First page of Curse of the Hill. The title is in big bold letters at the top of the page. The first panel showcases a rural cow farm seen from above. The cows and farmer are so small they are almost unrecognizable. The narration begins: Momma didn't leave much fer me 'fore she had to go... just a small farm on a hill.

The second and third pages of Curse of the Hill. The first panel shows the farmer looking at an unseen object in the distance at a low angle, a visible object floating in the sky. The farmer is a young woman with a bob and an eye patch on her right eye. The narration continues: Truth be told, it is a little lonely... but at least I don't get any noisy neighbors. The next panel shows the farmer petting a cow near a fence, a small bucket beside them both. The narration says: The only company I ever needed was m'little cows'.
The next panel shows only the fence, and the narration continues: But... m'pretty little cows... The farmer then gives some dollar bills to an unseen character as she sighs and picks up a heavy bag in the next panels. The narration resumes: have been disappearin' overnight... The last panel shows her in the distance looking at dark silhouettes talking amongst each other. The narration resumes: Townsfolk speak of the curse of the hill...

Pages four and five of Curse of the Hill. The first panel shows the bag the farmer had bought resting on a wall, as the narration continues: I couldn't even go to sleep anymore, knowin' I wouldn't see one of my girls when I woke up...! In the next panel, she's resting on a wall of her barn, arms crossed as she looks out to the dark of the night to see a UFO casting a beam of light onto the cow from earlier. The narration finishes with: Until one night.
She then runs up to the bewildered cow, lasso in hand, as a shadow moves inside the UFO. She throws the lasso onto the UFO, catching it and yanking it into the earth in the next panels. She keeps a firm grip on her lasso as smokes starts leaving the side of the UFO.

Pages six and seven of Curse of the Hill. In the first panel, the UFO's capsule opens up to reveal a humanoid alien attempting to crack a smile, yet visibly shaking in fear. She is still stirring the wheel despite the obvious smoke coming out of the vehicle. The farmer then puts her shoe on the UFO as she tightens the tension on the lasso, looking down in anger at the alien. The view from below makes it possible for the moon to be visible, a waning crescent. In the next panels, the alien hurriedly sticks out her hands in protest, screams and speaks in a language the farmer cannot understand as she shows the farmer an oddly human flip phone.
The images of the flip phone show cows being shrunk, painted on and made into keychains, and the farmer's gaze goes out of focus in the next panels.

Page eight of Curse of the Hill. In the first panel, the UFO, smoke still coming out of it, lasso still attached to it, takes the cow with it anyways onto the starred sky. The farmer yelps in response as they go away. The final panel shows the alien happily leaving Earth with her prize, and the cow's crying despite being given an astronaut helmet. The word 'Fin!' can be read on the lower right corner of the page. End ID]

  • Here is my adorable cow gal, Bonnie! I'm so happy with her design! I went with a simpler design than how Bonnie and Nora used to look.

I was also inspired by several cow gals with hair over the eyes, and I LOVED that look!

Back in 2003, I wanted to challenge myself by making an attractive bovine gal! Cows weren't initially my thing at all at first. I saw artists making characters look really attractive, and I thought, "Hey, I could do that!" Since I associate bovines with milk, it was only natural that I made my cow gals busty!

Back then I also had some ambitions to do "farm shipping". Like, wouldn't it be fun if my cow gals had a thing for some of the stallions? _That_ could be fun! And honestly, I still **love** that idea!

  • The eyes of predators and prey such as cats, foxes, dogs, fallow deers and cows etc. have a crystalline layer behind the pupils wich reflects light. The reflected light functions as a flashlight and gives the animals a "second chance" to absorb light.
