(Seriously, though, her boyfriend, Kyle, *loves* her for it!)

  • Meet Cindy, my kitsune!

I changed her from a red fox to a silver fox in 2006. I realized I was very attached to her original form, which was inspired by Nimbl's drawing of a lady fox! (Thanks Captain Packrat!) http://www.datapacrat.com/Furry/CD%20-%20Fur/A%20REMES/BUSTFX_C.GIF

Earlier this year I realized I barely drew Terra, my previous kitsune, because of several reasons. A LOT of that has to do with her origin. The files and drawings are no more; I really, really felt uncomfortable with how she came about.

(Terra came about from a role-play session as a child my old fursona, Tremaine, had with a vixen. Terra was rapidly aged-up from a child to an adult; a former friend came up with that idea. Terra was still child-like in maturity and that revolted me. He liked a lot of things that made me uncomfortable and I had trouble with boundaries, so I drew stuff for him because I didn't really have any other friends at the time, and was afraid I'd chase him off. Later, in 2006 I tried to change Terra from a magical red fox to a blue-haired kitsune, but still felt gross about drawing her.)

I'm taking a concept from Terra (magical kitsune) and combining that with Cindy, so she's now a kitsune! Cindy will be able to shapeshift from her native cross fox form into a red fox, or a silver fox! Thus, I really can enjoy Cindy in all her forms!

There's an added bonus in that Cindy could supposedly assume more than just fox forms, and really change into any species she'd like. For the sake of reference sheets, I'm keeping this simple!

While Cindy has succubus-like powers, she really just likes having fun! Really, her "victims" are just extra sleepy for a few days!

Cindy is my upper limit for busty characters! (Her back is fine. She's magically strong!)

  • I'm super excited to bring back my fennec vixen, Sandi! I missed her an awful lot!

She is a character I've had since the late 90s. Much of her current incarnation was inspired by Cake's song "Short Skirt Long Jacket". She's a beautiful, smart and absolutely capable gal! I can absolutely see her running a business and being very good at it. She also likes to use her high energy for other things!

Her bikini bottom has a snap that closes around her tail; it's far easier than pulling it thru!

  • My character reference sheet for my silly squirrel girl Sylvia is done! I missed this cutie SO DANGED MUCH! She's a Western Gray Squirrel, so would that make her a California Squirrel?

I gave her leggings and sports bra because she's very active, and I figure that would be way more comfy for her!

Sylvia was a character my wife and I came up with way back in 2006. Personality-wise, I'd say she hasn't changed much since then! Coming up with an outfit was a bit of challenge. We figured since she was a very energetic caffeinated squirrel, so a sporty outfit would work best for her!

  • I'm bringing back my very oldest OC, Beth, my mouse! Not much changing with her; I think I might have merged a bit of Miriam's hairstyle with Beth's?

I also can't rule out bringing back Miriam, eventually; I am still fond of her, as a concept!

Back when I had made up a website featuring my characters' personalities on hedgefox . com, I also wasn't happy at all with her personality. This, though, feels more like her! She's very effervescent and infectious!

I missed her so danged much!

  • Here is my cougar/puma gal, Aura! I reimagined her from her tigress form. Aura the tigress was a nice idea, but I honestly didn't enjoy drawing all those stripes!

The new Aura is heavily inspired by Sarah Conner from Terminator 2, a movie I unabashedly love to bits! I love the idea of having a bad-ass, awesome female character!

(This one took a while because I was sick, and I've had insomnia, but I'm getting better! Next up is Diana, my maned wolf!)

  • Here is my adorable cow gal, Bonnie! I'm so happy with her design! I went with a simpler design than how Bonnie and Nora used to look.

I was also inspired by several cow gals with hair over the eyes, and I LOVED that look!

Back in 2003, I wanted to challenge myself by making an attractive bovine gal! Cows weren't initially my thing at all at first. I saw artists making characters look really attractive, and I thought, "Hey, I could do that!" Since I associate bovines with milk, it was only natural that I made my cow gals busty!

Back then I also had some ambitions to do "farm shipping". Like, wouldn't it be fun if my cow gals had a thing for some of the stallions? _That_ could be fun! And honestly, I still **love** that idea!

  • Here is my finished character reference sheet for Tessa, my striped skunk gal! I was inspired by Flitter of MLP:FIM a bit! Since Tessa's sister Sherri wears a hair bow, I thought it would really suit Tessa!

She has been around since 1997! I'm so excited to bring her back; I'm going to be drawing more of her!

(The joke about bikinis is that I put her in one to show off her fur pattern, but she actually prefers one-piece swimsuits! She's terribly body-shy!)

  • Reference sheet for my pretty kitty gal, Amber! She's always been one to dress in pretty things! I came up with her in 2003, and I drew her a total of 4 times previously; like a LOT of things, I'd meant to draw more of her over the years!

I really like how I've used a less saturated, and more subtle color scheme. I think feel her colors are way easier on the eyes. I also changed her fur pattern a bit; I think she looks far more like a tabby cat now than she ever did before.

Personality-wise, I did borrow a little bit from Rarity (MLP:FIM)! Amber is pretty AND likes finding the beauty in others!

A lot of what I had originally planned for is what I still want to do. I want to dress her up in pretty outfits! Everything from tasteful outfits to really naughty is on the table. I recall that in 2002, I really struggled with drawing clothes of any kind; I had intended Amber to give me impetus to practice drawing lots of different kinds of clothing.

  • I am so excited to present my first real character reference sheet!

I've been wanting to put this together since at least 2006; let me tell you, I am super glad to be in a better state of mental health!

I figure what better way to start than with my vixen, Tremmie!

Tremmie started as a female version of my old fursona, Tremaine! There was a role play on FurryMUCK (both when I role-played AND was still active on FM) where Tremaine was changed into a vixen for a while, and couldn't change back. Shenanigans ensued!

Since then, Tremmie has become her own character, though she's still based on a lot of my own personality! She's long been one of my absolute favorites over the years.

Fan art and gift are absolutely welcome!
