It's Capricorn season ♑️

Another weapon update, for Leo this time! ^_^ I know the “cute character wielding a scary weapon” trope is well-used at this point, but I still love it a lot. xD 

I don’t totally know how I want to do the fire effects for this weapon yet, and I guess the flat colour doesn’t really tell you what the flail is made out of, but this was still a good update! Like Virgo’s updated weapon design, I wanted to make sure I captured the personality and “theme” of the wielder as best as possible, as well as adding some much needed detail / symbol integration. The design of the head might change a bit depending on if I can draw it well enough from other angles, but the idea is there at least.

The flail can be lit in both its retracted and lion head forms, but the latter is more common. Similar to Capricorn’s whip (which might also get an update in the future), the small button on the side of the handle allows it to retract / release. Leo can also use her fire magic to light her own mane on fire to match the flail for more close-combat attacks!

So I drew a G1 Zodiac My Little Pony. Yes, I know the Bronies already drew a Zodiac FIM ponies here on Deviantart but the ones I'm doing is the G1 ponies since I don't see any artwork of them(except maybe a custom ponies of them but I haven't seen them yet. I guess I'm not looking hard enough) and that the G1 ponies need more loving. :3 I'm amazed that Hasbro never made the G1 Zodiac Ponies, it would have been awesome but since they never got around to make it, it's up to me and MLP fans to make custom ponies instead. :meow:

The first one I made is Capricorn, a pony that is made for December 21 to January 20 and anyone here that was born in between those days, this one is for you. :3
I made her as a mountain sea goat hybrid pony. I added the horns and a fish tail based on the zodiac animal.

Moving to a new house is hard for able-bodied people, let alone someone with joints that bend too far and muscles that give up too early.

Been going non-stop for over a week and oh boy did my body remind me of that today! Took it easy (mostly), and really happy that I have next week off too. I was smart enough to know I'd be deceased after the move, at least. Gotta get started on Capricorn soon!
