it's not easy trying to do comic speech bubbles with characters who don't emit noise. osmes communicates telepathically with others most of the time, and to imply that they're sort of, speaking with their brain, this was the solution i came up with.
giving your characters unconventional anatomy is cool in theory, but you've got to be prepared to suffer whenever you draw them, especially if you're trying to keep things consistent. that being said, osmes is probably my favorite thing to draw :)
