Some concept art of a certain scene that is canon, thus far. The scene itself is subject to change as I continue writing the first draft of Book 1.
Taizaros is the massive saber-tooth creature with the lion-like mane of tentacles. He's what is known as a Fallen God and a Disgraced Sacred Keeper. He used to be the Sacred Keeper of Daituria's Darkness, but he wanted an entire planet to himself as he viewed Seltara, The Sacred Keeper of Daituria's Light and Goddess of The Brightened Water, as a weak deity and undeserving of her position. The Two Creators refused to let him have a planet of his own, because without him, the animals on Daituria would grow old, but never die, and neither would they know when to sleep. So Taizaros tried to attack The Two Creators in his outrage at their decision. They stripped him of his Universal Darkened Water and Universal Poison magic, gave him Elemental versions of that magic, stripped him of his immortality, and sent him into exile on Leytovar.
Taizaros has met Delros before, and he hates him for... certain reasons. He also wants Delros's 7,000-year-long lifespan to take as his own. In this scene, he recognizes the presence of Delros's soul within Kae. Hence why he's grabbed Kae by the leg and why he's got that look on his face. But in order to absorb Delros's lifespan, Taizaros needs to kill Kaelech, and then devour his heart while channeling a Creation-Destruction spell of his Elemental Poison magic into his jaws.
But does that actually happen?... We'll see!
