An older piece, this was for the Vanitas zine that I managed.

I wanted to show some things about the character that meant a lot to me with this. The name Vanitas can mean a few different things, 'empty' being one of them. So a ribcage with nothing inside felt appropriate. Two candles representing the two spans of life he lived. One before he was taken from Ventus, and one after. The white snake, a creature who lies, containing 13 X's on it's back to represent Xehanort's influence.

I see a lot of mistakes and place where I could have done better now, so I might revisit this piece someday.
