I guess I better start posting here!
This was something from a few years ago. I've been feeling a little nostalgic for the early MLP craze lately. Drawing pony requests on forums was how I got more interested in bettering my art.
Fun fact, I actually didn't like Princess Cadance when she first had her debut. But she grew on me. Now, she reminds me of what it felt like to want to be a princess when I was a kid.I guess I better start posting here! This was something from a few years ago. This was another zine piece I did, this time for the VanVen zine volume 1.
I love the connection between Vanitas and Ventus because it's so strange and can be interpreted in so many ways. Slightly older piece I made for a digital zine about Kingdom Hearts rare pairs.
I'd been getting super attached to Sora and Hiro at the time, so I picked them as my subject. Sometimes you just need to take a quick rest during your mission to travel the world.

An older piece, this was for the Vanitas zine that I managed.
I wanted to show some things about the character that meant a lot to me with this. The name Vanitas can mean a few different things, 'empty' being one of them. So a ribcage with nothing inside felt appropriate. Two candles representing the two spans of life he lived. One before he was taken from Ventus, and one after. The white snake, a creature who lies, containing 13 X's on it's back to represent Xehanort's influence.
I see a lot of mistakes and place where I could have done better now, so I might revisit this piece someday.An older piece, this was for the Vanitas zine that I managed. There's a few little errors on this piece, but I still really love it. This was a nice way to play with lighting and some new brushes at the time.
As much as I enjoy writing and drawing chaotic and turbulent relationships, sweet and cute ones are fun too. Soriku fills in the gaps where a sentimental romance is needed in my media consumption.There's a few little errors on this piece, but I still really love it.
