The Mark of Dumaahl is an affliction of the soul: a corruption caused by errant remnants of an ancient amalgamate being composed of (unwilling) souls ripped from the living. As the marked's consciousness drowns in a turbulent sea of residual emotion - fear, anguish, rage - they descend into a primal, reactive state.

As Di teeters on the edge of unleashing terrible devastation, Azukai is determined to bring him back, if he's still in there.

Took some time to treat myself to a personal art. That ended up being some moody piece with Di and Azukai. I really went all in on the lineart for this one, and I like how it came out.
