I'm taking a big step to focus on a few platforms and Inkblot didn't make the cut. I won't be posting here for the foreseeable future. I hope you can catch me elsewhere.
I want Inkblot to succeed, and I really like the visual updates with the new beta. Unfortunately, it's too unstable and quiet to justify sinking time into maintaining a presence here. The Mark of Dumaahl is an affliction of the soul: a corruption caused by errant remnants of an ancient amalgamate being composed of (unwilling) souls ripped from the living. As the marked's consciousness drowns in a turbulent sea of residual emotion - fear, anguish, rage - they descend into a primal, reactive state.
As Di teeters on the edge of unleashing terrible devastation, Azukai is determined to bring him back, if he's still in there.

Took some time to treat myself to a personal art. That ended up being some moody piece with Di and Azukai. Title from The Blacklist This one is for sneepyfox of his character named Resaajah. I've been toiling away on this one for some time now and for a while I was not really sure whether it would turn out well, but boy did it turn around c: I experimented a lot with this one which made it go slower than usual. I hosted an exchange this month with friends and I got @RHokeArt! This is his character, Sephres, who I once drew many years ago. It was interesting to draw him again and see just the difference in the way I interpret the character design. This one challenged me in many ways - especially with the palette and background - but I'm satisfied with the result and thinking maybe I can do some studies on those things at some point... A while back, I adopted Augs (from bsky) in an art xchange and decided to draw her character, Monty! Of course I love to draw byondi but also Monty has such an interesting and unique design, I needed to try my hand at it! cx
I poured all of my love into this one over the past few months - thank you everyone in Twitch chat who spent actual hours watching me draw leaves. I definitely don't think I'll be making intense drawings like this every day, so I'm happy I made one of Monty.
