I know Jax has had a chunk of the fandom turn on him since He acted like a big jerk in episode 2 which is kinda what people loved about him in episode 1. I've seen people say the fandom headcannoned what they thought on Jax too hard and got moody when it didn't add up with their specific theories. I think what it was really was that he basically dictated what the rest of the cast did on the adventure and he didn't get any real punishment for being a meanie. As much as we need the scene where Gangle finally stands up for herself (Which will be glorious) I think the fandom just needs to wait it out till there comes an episode to be written where he does get karma for his actions or show his "tender side".
