Splatoon 1's servers end today, I am very grateful for all the fun, splat fest and Turf wars I got to take part in. Although playing ranked was a nightmare not sure why they limited those other modes to just rank where if you lose you put yourself in danger of losing your rank but I digress. I haven't played the sequels other than my library's copy of Splatoon 3 for single player cause I would have to pay for Nintendo online to take part and I already used the free trial and while I do like having a gaggle of NES & SNES games to play on and off again I don't think it be worth it just for a gaggle of games and 1 game's online mode. Maybe when the switch 2 or whatever I'll picked up Splatoon 4, although I always fancied the idea of a Single player focused Splatoon game and Yes I know there's DLC that's just that but I then I'd have to pay more for that and I'm not made of money.

Splatoon was also my first online focused game, I never really saw the appeal of those type of games it always seemed like it was just an endless loop of battles in where you fight other player just to flex your skills and my friends confirm yea, that's basically those type of games in a nutshell. Splatoon was still really fun regardless (The rage I got from ranked matches aside).

Thank you Splatoon 1, you'll live on in private servers, replays of single player and super squid jump.

Some more Samurai 70 character stuff. I have plans for having them in a big story but for the time being I'm just gonna stick to little character moments like this where Citrus likes to lounge in Yosei's big Pompadour, a running gag. She like to keep her snacks and other things in there.

I heard the Birthday of Fsjal was a few days ago, safe to say that little doodle meme had an influence on me.

I just thought this ship was a cute idea, I know most people ship Trick shot was Tarot & I made a piece about that for Mermay, but I had this idea in my head and I know people love the "Go for it Nakamura" template. I also really like how trick shot came out here, I usually feel like I don't do his whiskers (or whatever there called) justice but I followed the guide the creator made for him more closely and I think it's really good.

People have been saying Deviantart has lost all credit ablity since before Wix bought it but as an artist myself who is against AI (And other **** they did) should make an effort to find other websites to show off out art that will not bend the knee to AI. Not sure how to go about this other than Repost everything I've made here but we'll see.

I wanted to try out doing that 90's filter/fake cartoon screenshot thing. I wanted to do it with Cerulia and Upsilon, something simple yet gives off the general idea of a plot for a cartoon episode. The duo were trying to set up a light ball for an arcade but they accidentally break it and now they have to replace it.



I think about writing bios for Cerulia and Upsilon like I have for Golem Chronicles & Samurai 70 characters but I think what I like about these two is that they are blank slats I can use for just about anything. At least for now, Golem Chronicles & Samurai 70 are sci fi epics while these two I can just throw into anything without thinking too much about it. I fancy the idea of having them live in a arcade though.

Drew Cyan from The Cat Vault an Indie Animated series that's has a kickstarter but isn't likely to reach it's goal. I really hope the creator doesn't get too discouraged from this She just really needed to grow her brand before launching it. The show is about four cats who team up to become DJs and save their world from destruction and promoting positive energy with music. The art looks really good and I do hope it gets made some day. I know Indie animation is still in it's budding era & not everything will get the attention it deserves right away.

I know Jax has had a chunk of the fandom turn on him since He acted like a big jerk in episode 2 which is kinda what people loved about him in episode 1. I've seen people say the fandom headcannoned what they thought on Jax too hard and got moody when it didn't add up with their specific theories. I think what it was really was that he basically dictated what the rest of the cast did on the adventure and he didn't get any real punishment for being a meanie. As much as we need the scene where Gangle finally stands up for herself (Which will be glorious) I think the fandom just needs to wait it out till there comes an episode to be written where he does get karma for his actions or show his "tender side".

Thought about making more fanart for Indie animated series, Took inspiration from NOXP. An underrated little series made by the guy who made Planet Panic. It's about 5 heroes in an RPG like world and their daily lives after they've defeated the great evil. One of them is a Clown named Toots whose dedicated her life to the art of buffoonery (Her own words). I'd imagine this is something she'd do in a fight. The creator Gene-Goldstein is actually on Newgrounds and so are a few of this episodes thought most of the series is on YouTube so check em out there. Also don't worry about Poppy she gets revived.

This is the kinda joke you come up with a late on a weekend with friends while hyped up on salty snacks. But I think we've all experienced something, we all don't want to go back to work after having just a few days off (especially after if you get an extra day) but even more so when you feel like you've wanted to get some things accomplished but for one reason or another it doesn't happen. Maybe Cerulia needs better time management skills. And Upsilon is giving her some advice on where to start, He's so supportive of her.

Lilly the witch from Froggo's Adventure: Verdant Venture an indie game that's only 99 cents on steam. But I got it for 80 cents on sale which I didn't think games that cheap could go on sale. The game's a fun 2d Platformer and a spin off to another game the creator made called Froggo Swing 'n Grapple, It's like the first Kriby game where it's designed around inhaling enemies and spiting them back out, it's interesting to play something inspired by a game in a series without the core gimmick the series is known for. It's also kinda hard especially if you try to rush through the levels.
