This was the first time I drew my fursona after socially transitioning. I think it had also been a long time since I'd drawn him in general. I was particularly trying to figure out how to do his hair colors with the short haircut. (Previously it had been like [this](https://www.deviantart.com/refkins/art/Inktober-2017-Day-1-707473315) and like [this](https://www.deviantart.com/refkins/art/College-The-Best-Party-Dress-652387471), so the framing bangs were a mystery.) I ultimately decided to just do with the hair what I do with my clothes: map to whatever I'm doing at the time IRL. (I change my hair color once a quarter lol.)
