The title is overly long for such a short comic, but I hope you don't mind. :P
Anyways, yeah! If you already follow my Maddy and Match fan story, you know during that timeline/AU/etc. Match _did_ try to date that one hotdog stand lady from Battle Network 4. But things didn't work out. They're on relatively good terms, though Maddy clearly seems to have liked her enough to take her on as a friend. I guess to Match's chagrin, lol
Also, I named her Akane, since it's a cute name and I think it suits her! She has no official name in the games, she's just "the hotdog stand lady". So insignificant of an NPC, she doesn't even get a name. Even the non-unique tournament opponents in that game got names! Yeesh. D:
Bonus, the only other instance of someone in the fandom giving her a name (from what I could find at least) was from a fan fic of Match proposing to her. That story named her "Leda", which the author admitted just means "Lady". :u
