  • From my twitter upload:

"A little late to posting, but this was my first completed work of the year!

    Shoutouts to @/PaperJoshi
    and @/McGwiggles
, who are the ones you can blame for me knowing about legglypuff!"

A fun fact? Joshi apparently is the one who first thought of Legglypuff, at least so far as we can tell. She has been devoted to getting people to draw them!

  • During an attack from poachers looking to harvest their narwhal horns, Araki lost her son and husband. The few who survived the onslaught perished from grief, as their kind were a sensitive folk. Araki washed ashore an artic tribe and was taken in by them. She learned the language and began to build a life their, processing the vivid loss of both her partner and offspring.

One of the tribesmembers, a Selkie, became close with her. An altercation with another tribe revealed that the same poachers were nearby and searching for other valuable items. Araki became filled with both anger and fear, not wanting another massacre to take place. Fate took it out of her hands anyway, a forenight later an attack came in the night. The Selkie fought to protect her as they stood back to back, but when morning came the losses were great. Her friend begged Araki to take her pelt with her, a piece to remember her by. Araki promised to always wear her close, and with a sigh the Selkie passed.

She helped build back up what was left of the tribe, but left shortly after, not wanting to bring more doom upon them. She started tracking poachers all across the continent, making them pay the price of their deeds. She would not rest until she speared the head of the person responsible on her trident.
