Man, the compression absolutely killed my poor door. But it was the only way the video would upload!
Been busy with many things lately. And one of them was modelling this 3D door as a gig for Fiverr. And while I can't have this available for download, since it was commissioned, I can at least showcase what the model looks like.
It was tricky to get this finished. It was my first ever gig using GLTF file exports, and GLTF is a N I G H T M A R E to work with. It's very specific with textures, finnicky with how you organize your polygons, and picky with how you export your animations. It feels like 40% of the time spent on it was JUST ensuring that the blasted thing even works... But it still ended up working!
Took about 1 1/2 weeks to finish. What a format....

Here we are for another 3d model showcase! Commissioned by the same person that asked for the cyberpunk door, funnily enough. A much simpler project compared to the ridiculously complex door, It was a fun experiment! Played around with some baked physics animations too.
The main issue was, again, preparing the model for the GLTF file export. I hate this file format so much. It's clunky as all hell to prepare both the shaders AND the textures, and even then you're lucky to even get it semi good enough. Whoever invented this format, i hate you.

Time for another Fiverr commission! Once again, I unfortunately can't put this to download, as it was made for a project, but I a rather happy to show the end result! It's one of my favorite models yet! And it gave me migraines....Turns out that Blender's Boolean tools create lousy topology! So Most of the time spent on the modelling phase was just for fixing topology. And then I realized that I didn't need to because the lousy topology would've been completely hidden anyway...
Modelled, Rigged, Textured and Rendered entirely in blender! Even the post compositting and video editting was done in Blender!

After a spa night with the boys, Tag gets invited to play some rounds of mario party with the girls! Unfortunately, mario party does its thing, and it seems that a fight is about to break out...how unfortunate.
This was one of the big pics! It required a ton of 3D posing and several hours of work. Around 11 hours or so...But in the end, i'm happy with the results, I think it turned out good.

A sketch for the IOT spin-off, "The Multipolar World", featuring the newly-elected leaders of the Co-operative Federation of Xinjiang.
From the strictest reading, China *did* have a democratic government circa 2160... but christos was not a player known for adaptable roleplay. The Scarlet Lancers fought incessantly for a régime that was democratic in spirit as much as function, and finally achieved it Turn 8, 2165, after christos started a war he couldn't win and abandoned the country to be blown into nuclear oblivion, draining the treasury to bankroll his retirement to ~~Argentina~~Ethiopia. His "last" will and testament was to give everything to Australia, who partitioned the lands into independent successor states, one of which was "gifted" to the Lancers.
Somehow, this sketch took me half a day, amidst a pretty bad state of health documented in [this journal](https://el-thorvaldo.deviantart.com/journal/Alright-I-ve-been-thinking-291990494). It's still a *little* on the rough side and the background was an almost total cop-out, but given how many times I had to revise this before and *after* scanning, I think I'm posting it partly to attest to myself that my work wasn't for naught. If I do any more edits, it'll probably be when my skill's so improved I'd redo the whole thing.
I **hate** shoes.

This is a redraw of the female Cryolophosaurus that I drew back in 2016, not counting the easter artwork from 2022. I just feel like drawing her again recently. And maybe over time, I'll redraw dinosaurs I've drawn over the years.
I gave her a lot more details, especially the crest on top of her head. I even darkened her skin a little bit. Doesn't she look gorgeous?
Facts about Cryolophosaurus
She was first discovered and named back in the 1990s, the first dinosaur to be discovered in Antarctica, and was the largest carnivore of her time.
Her name means "Frozen Crested Lizard."
She's known for the large crest on her head which is compared to Elvis Presley's pompadour. For that, the dinosaur is nicknamed Elvisaurus.
The crest is probably used by males to attract females or to appear intimidating and scare off other creatures.
