Have a nice and peaceful Samhain!
It is said that during this night the veil to the other world is thin and when you put up candles on the windows the light will guide your beloved dead back home so they can meet you.
Since I lost my dog last year and a friend this year I figured, I wanted to make something to honor all those who left the world before me. Since I can't fit everyone in this pic I chose representatives for each kind. Though it was painful to create this it also eased my mind a bit.

An OC of a dear friend and writing partner. I was amazed when she revealed me her image of his looks since I used to have some characters similiar to his looks in the past. Story of an OC from a RPG
This resembles the essence of the sin pride (Hroki) as opposed to his sister, the sin of grief & hatred (Lypai) It is the way humans may have seen the young Hroki when he tried to gain their support in the middle of Lypais darkness which consumed their kingdom at the time.
It is also Hrokis inner child after he was corrupted by Lypai to become the sin of narcissism and therefore being consumed by self hatred and hatred towards every living being which wouldn't give him the supply of admiration.

Just some test with black paper, prismacolor pencils and a white fineliner. I messed up the eye and the nose. Actually, I wanted to change the position of the eye digitally but the new krita and my pc system won't let me. So sorry for that.
But it was a lot of fun to draw. I got this awesome, cheap colored paper and I just had to try it out!

I just wanted to try out semi-realism once more. I'll probably misuse this OC (Dagon, used him in a trad. challenge before) of mine in the future for more experiments in this way.
He was originally designed to be the villain in an rp and though he is the fallen angel of life and creation...he is still much of a villain, idiot and confused mess (to the pain of his surroundings not himself).Created October 2022 This took me longer than anticipated ^^" I just wanted to try out semi-realism once more. I kinda had a hard time coloring the skin since no pencil seemed to match in the correct way with the paper.
