This design was inspired by the time my no-fun-allowed little cousin told me "Santa is Satan" when I asked if he was excited for Santa to come.
I might as well lean into being the evil cousin >:)

Commissions for @/Phlowwtotter on Twitter that I did last month for Halloween. These pieces are based on Arkham Horror.
His character Phirmm the wolf/panda is serving guests some champagne, while his character Phuell ( the corgi/bear) is making a lame joke (he thinks he's a comedian and probably had one too many drinks). The guests (who are from Psychopomp! Do you recognize them? ) seem to having a delightful time. Oh, that one in black robe? This is still one of my favorite pieces I've ever done, and one of the most involved! It may not look like it, but this one actually has so many layers of texture that it took two whole PSD files to finish it, one for the characters and one for the background. The style is my best impression of Masahiro Ito, and the piece is overall a parody of Dogs Playing Poker, by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge.
