Just Gai and a baby huk. Huks are agile mono-horned riding creatures with silky sheaves of hanging fur that is harvested for textiles. They do not grow overly large, so generally women and younger asah make up the largest portion of their riders. A particularly slender adult man could probably ride a sturdy huk'buk, however.

Gai doesn't do much riding these days, but he still loves spending time with the newborns.

Just a headshot of best-boy Gai. I wanted to push his face shapes beyond what I normally draw. He usually wears a band of leather over his fukt eye, as it was clawed out by a yan'esh when he was younger. The whole ordeal left him with significant trauma and since then he's been a selective mute.

Fun fact: For the asah people, you can tell if they're married by whether they have a piercing in the tip of the left ear. Gender combination does not matter as asah don't discriminate. Left lobe is for coming of age (15-16,) right lobe is for entering their job/calling in society (16-20.) Often they match them in style, but sometimes they express themselves and put something different in each.

Additionally, different colonies or even families, may have specific common designs for ear jewelry. A plain smooth ring is still the most common, and most traditional/conservative choice for most people.

I started my main monsterman's sheet years ago and redid and updated bits and pieces of it so it looks more current. As of now, this is his primary outfit and design in canon. I like doing stuff in layers so I can turn on and off pieces of clothing and add more garments and styles later. Paperdolls are fun.

Anyway Tiberius is a terrible maneating trashman, if you couldn't tell from looking at him. I draw him a ton so I figured I'd introduce him now.

I thought it would be cute and sweet for Barok to use Gai's hair as a scarf, but I had to also have his hand on his husband's bits because his 3 moods are sleepy, horny, or hungry

I was getting ready to introduce these two into City of Asah, and I wanted to draw some moments with them to kinda catch the vibe ahead of time.

Was just experimenting a certain vibe I liked, and used Tiberius and [@ashworks](https://inkblot.art/profile/ashworks)'s boy Dzan as vict--subjects.
