"Do no harm, but take no ****"
Shes ready for a fight.
So i have been workin on this for a long while now, cause i was tryin a new colorin technique. This also has a good amount of meaning/symbolism even tho it is quite basic lookin. I found a piece of jewelry that i referenced for the rings at the top of the image, i think it was a necklace.
Black leopard/jaguar - "black panthers" arent a real thing. Its typically a leopard or jaguar with a melanistic color variant, but it can b any big cat really. Also they are a symbol of strength and power. I am also using it to represent African americans and Black Lives Matter as shown with the fist up and kneeling.
Freesia Leichtliniis (the lil flowers) - these are flowers that originate from africa and are difficult to grow in the US. According to the research i did, they symbolize friendship, trust, thoughtfulness, innocence, obligation, selflessness, and passion, and i couldnt think of anythin else that would fit better. They come in red, white, yellow, pink, purple, and multicolored.
Colors for things - i did research on what certain colors mean in african cultures. I love the designs and color combos in the cloths and the meanins are so neat to me. Blue means "peace", silver means "peace, purity and joy", green means "growth, spiritual and land", gold means "wealth, and spiritual purity", and red means "sacrificial rites, bloodshed and death". From what ive noticed, the wealthy dont mind the bloodshed, as it makes them wealthy. The linked chains are the struggle between peace and the bloodshed. The curly lines/vines depict how we need to grow and develop.

I decided to try somethin new and use a tutorial on YouTube from amiehowardart on how to color a lion. Sadly, the tutorial was on how to color with Faber-castell polychromos, and i dont have those, i have prismacolor pencils so i tried to color match as much as possible. I had fun also learnin how to create galaxies too (again thnx to YouTube).

Acrylic paints, lots o water, prismacolor colored pencils, an xacto knife, Art masking fluid, micron pens, and alot o emotions lol.
Enjoy!

Its been 2 years now, and i miss the hell outta em. It was a beautiful expirience to be apart of. My depression was at a crazy high, and was in a bad spot, and Unus Annus gave me somethin to look forward to everyday. They helped me out.
im hoping to actually git around to painting this at some point.
Made this about a week before the last day, but then i forgot to add the hashtag and tag them in it so it didnt git seen. **** Happens.
Was fun to make tho, and excited to practice human beings in art again, they are great models.
I made it so i can flip it any way i want lol.

HI!
its been a long ass while since i last posted! about a year, actually!
im hoping to start posting more, ive been doin alot in my lots of time away. I have been working a **** ton so i can try to save some money, ive been trying to analyze myself and my eating habits to help lose weight, we have been fixing up our home (weve been here 3 years give or take a few months), and I got my degree in Graphic Design, which taught me somewhat how to do digital art.
This piece took me roughly a few weeks to a month, but thats mostly because i have been basically "fucking around and finding out" in photoshop, illustrator and procreate (instead of looking up tutorials like a normal human being). its been alot of fun learning something new and hopefully the next piece goes smoother, maybe ill even look up some tutorials to make life easier.
its been so nice to take a breather every now and then and play pokemon again after a long hiatus.
I have rediscovered my love of pokemon go and am gittin back into it. If you play and want to send gifts back n forth, or send me some raid invites, my trainer code is 5257 8669 1297, or drop your friend code below!
