Alexa's a trainer in Venus' gym and eventually becomes her girlfriend as well. She substitutes for Venus regularly, and the gym may as well be co-owned at that point. She is very concerned and disappointed about the average Venus-behavior but she loves her regardless.

Aphie's the ancestor of Venus in Pokemon Legends. She's pretty much just as chaotic as her while also being the parent that went to buy milk. Sad times.

Venus eventually took over Norman's gym and turned it into a dark-type gym. She's never seen using her ace as she thinks it's too much for the average challenger. Nowdays she even breeds dark types and hands the eggs to new trainers, a practice which Bede decided to join her in with fairy types, just casually and sneakily spreading their fairy and dark type propaganda /hj

Aspen found Venus in an official match on TV against Cynthia and promptly decided to do research on her. Seeing as she grew from a criminal to a person that was spoken about fondly and positively while also holding her own against legendaries and organizations, they chose her as their role model.

Upon meeting Venus in Paldea they immediately approach her and talk her ear off, which she doesn't mind although she's busy. Venus had received a hisuian Sneasel egg from Ingo (who she took back to the future with her after the Hisui adventure) and since Aspen is desperate to start out with a Sneasel and hers is kind of... not a fan of other Sneasel, she gives the hisuian Sneasel egg to them, which becomes their starter. They aren't too interested in the gym challenge and end up running around with Arven more and doing the Team Star bases, as they figure that's what Venus would do and they end up having lots of fun with it.

Their storyline mostly follows the events of Pokemon Scarlet, with them meeting Koraidon and all but there's alterations to the storyline as it's a mix of both games + Venus gets to do her own thing in this region and Aspen constantly runs into her.

After graduation they'll join Venus in the gym to be properly mentored by her.

Venus' Hisui outfit. Arceus puts her to the test and at the end she finds out that apparently there once was a Venus who pulled off Team Galactic's plans successfully and wished for a better life. Arceus was the only survivor of the old universe and moved to the new one, alarmed when the new Venus was born but surprised to find out she was much different from the old one. The old Venus' wishes also caused the new Venus to be the main character, which is why she experiences so many different plotpoints.

Venus is a Commander of Team Galactic, recruited after she had a major breakthrough at a pretty young age, although the research team she was part of hid that it was her who got it. Team Galactic catches wind and recruits her and she joins, interested in the idea of seeing a new universe created but unaware of the fatal consequences it could have.

Her signature mon is a shiny Sneasel which she rescued at a young age and the two are completely inseparable (quite literally they never go anywhere without each other). Though she's also seen with her beloved Mightyena a lot.

Unfortunately Team Galactic keeps her in the dark about how it'll harm the Lake Guardians and Dialga and Palkia as well as the fact that it'll destroy the old universe. She isn't even aware of the violence behind the scenes, only knowing about theft and property damage (which she excuses as necessary sacrifices for research). Eventually she witnesses Team Galactic getting violent and her doubts start, until she finally discovers a ruin that was hidden from her, talking all about the fatal consequences.

This part of her story follows the anime events pretty closely, just with her inserted. She decides to leave it up to the kids to save them, not finding it right to take the "hero"-spotlight with what she's been supporting but has arranged a backup-plan that will enable if they aren't fast enough and will only open a portal to the distortion world and keep damage in the Sinnoh region at a minimum. Her plan doesn't need to act but Cyrus gets trapped in the distortion world. Venus manages to flee, barely losing Looker and eventually catching a Sharpedo that takes her to the Hoenn region.

Venus gets rescued and taken in by Norman, working in his gym until her identity is revealed by Looker, who finally tracked her down. Norman steps in for her since he doesn't believe she's genuinely evil and eventually with a lot of negotiation Venus gets put under watch rather than arrested. Though Norman gets invited to join the Sinnoh Battle Frontier and would like to accept, leaving him with the question of what to make of his gym then and he proposes the idea of Venus taking it over, as she's shown to be skillfull enough.

Both Venus and Looker are unsure about this and Venus requests to go on a small gym journey to think about it, which she actually gets permission for, under the condition that she stays watched. She goes to Galar, where she meets Bede, growing attached to him and eventually calling him her son, 99% just to tease him, and also befriending Piers and Marnie. By the end she pulls out of the gym challenge after Bede and her have a final battle that ends in a draw. She decides to return to Hoenn and accept Norman's offer, as long as she is allowed to by the international police.

Venus visits the Isle of Armor and gets tangled in the classic plot. She rivals with Klara, often mocking her since Venus is a gym leader while Klara isn't (yet) and the same ends up happening when Bede meets Avery. They're seen having double battles pretty frequently.
