"By the way, how are you feeling after last Sunday?"

"Oh.. last Sunday... I feel like I'm better, just a bit... afraid to say the least."

"Are you positive Vitani, you're not one who shows or submits to fear very easily. You are by far the bravest mortal we've met thus far."

"Ludwig's right, you're a tough kid dude! But if I was you, I would definitely be worried about it."

"Well Larry, truth be told: I **am** concerned about it. I mean he just showed how much he doesn't care about my existence last Sunday."

" "Yes! Yes, I do," I never thought I would even hear your own brother say something as terrible as that. Simply agreeing to such a common yet horrible idea humanity knows of."

"And worse of all: He's younger than you Viti! I get it, Ludwig and I fight sometimes, Roy and Wendy butt heads all the time, but agreeing with the idea of killing someone just to mend your ego and be right?! That's too far!"

"And I thought he was a cool kid too."

"Yeah, he may have been my brother, but when things go wrong one too many times you have to start questioning the relationship at some point. He's a good sibling, but when it comes down to it, it's very clear what kind of person he's become. And I think it's safe to say that this threat.. is the last straw."

"You have a point Vitani. We can't deal with this anymore. We have to start planning!"

"I know, I know Sad Mouse! You have a point too; We do need to start planning. It's just.. I've always felt like every choice I make up until now... was the wrong choice."

"Like you'll get in trouble for it?"

"Any normal punk? Yes. For me, Roy, it's ten times worse and terrifying. It's basically me hearing someone threatening to tie me high up in a tree on a noose, or throwing me out for mountain lions to feast on my freezing corpse."

"Oh... Oh man. Is that really what it feels like? 'Cause I definitely can't imagine living my entire eternity hearing things like that."

"Yep, I can without a doubt confirm it. And I thought Sad Mouse had it worse than me."

"Same here pal. So, how are you gonna start?"

"Well, I already sent that application for starters, I'm just waiting on the all clear for an interview."

"Oh yeah I remember seeing you doing it back in October! Hasn't it been four months already?"

"Hm, I remember too Roy. And yes, it has been four months now. I'm not too surprised however. This guy is really famous after all, so he and his crew most likely get a lot of applications as of now. I wouldn't blame him."

"Sounds good. What are you going to do in the meantime however? Aside from your little group shenanigans."

"Oh. Oh yeah, I do have two resolutions on my list that might work. One of them I can do right now, the other needs some more confidence to work."

"Even with all the other ones still in progress?"

"Y-Yeah, that was the only thing I was worried about, especially with all the hate bombing I saw on the web recently."

"I knew it had something to do with that artist you were worried for!"

"Do you still care about all this hate bombing still? That's the most important question, in my opinion."

"Well Ludwig, to be honest... I don't care anymore. I shouldn't have even cared what bad things others, even my own peers were saying in the first place; Even though I'm known to be sensitive to lots of things. Even if it hurts, I don't care anymore. I want to be me and do me, not anyone else. And clearly, there's a lot I need to do to make it happen!"

"There you go buddy! Also, what about that old hat? Didn't you say you needed to...?"

"Don't worry Larry. I already took care of it, shouldn't be procrastinating on something important like that."

"You can do this Little Scarecrow! If you've been to hell and back, then you totally can bite back Vitani!"

I've finally pulled through my autumn and winter long depression, but carrying onwards is not going to be easy. As the pain grief, heartache, and depression brings does not heal entirely. It's an emptiness you have to live with for the rest of your days. And I am no exception to this natural rule.

Heck, I just recently had another episode of depression and pulled through yet again!

Just as Uncle Iroh never truly got over the loss of his own son. I too will never truly get over the shock of what happened, the pain is just not up in my face as much as it was. I'm just learning how to live along side the pain. That's what grief is in the end.

I'll find a way to see it through. Somehow. Somehow I always do.

Fifteen days, nine years ago my life was forever flipped on it's head.
Now, fifteen days ago last year, I was forced to face the horrible realization that I lost a character so close to my heart, after spending the remainder of that summer denying it.

It still haunts me, it always will. I love you Frankie, my best friend and dad.

One evening, a friend found their companion alone with a photo in their paw, and sad look. The friend approached with a smile and a charming hello anyway. Their companion only looked at them with a soft smile and hello for a moment, before looking back to the photo with a troubled frown.

They continued to prod their friend with sweet talk, asking their companion what they were up to. Yet the moment the friend saw the picture, they stopped with a realized start. Their dear companion was mourning. Realizing that they hadn't been very sensitive towards their companion, they apologized with their condolences and an embrace of comfort.

I'm so sorry. I couldn't fulfill my promise. I never imagined this ever happening. And I didn't get to say goodbye... I really am an idiot this time.

For so long I simply thought you were a simple character I enjoyed.

Someone whose company I didn't mind in the slightest.

Now, I understand. I had emotionally bonded to you.

And it took me too long to realize it.

You were more than a fun, kind teacher helping me, you were my family, my dad. And my classmates, they were my siblings.

We weren't a little school, we were a family, and now I've lost my family; Everyone's gone.

There is so much I wanted to show you. The talents I discovered, the friends I made, how far I came!

I was going to come back and keep my promise I swear!

I was so excited to see you and our friends, I couldn't wait to see my Pixie and Willie Wheely!

But I was too late, our lovely island is in ruins, our friends are forever lost, and Willie is all that's left.

Now I'll never get to see you again. I lost my father, with my siblings, and the island.

I failed my promise to you. And now, I don't have the dad I love the most with me anymore.

I dream I was able to return to you and our friends sooner, so I could save all of you.

I didn't even get to tell you what you meant to me!

But... maybe, just maybe... you're still out there.

Maybe you and our friends are roaming the world somewhere.

Yet it feels so hopeless...

I promise, one day, I'll finally fulfill my promise to you.
