Handful of pieces of Wyvern done off/on over last few years. Probably should revisit her in some capacity, or at least try and come up with some more scenarios. Though if nothing else, she's good to help pick up mood when need a boost.Handful of pieces of Wyvern done off/on over last few years. Mix of sketch, general doodling and what not pieces. Find it useful to look at the older pieces to remind myself I have been improving, gradually.Mix of sketch, general doodling and what not pieces. Collection of other sketches done. Is interesting how sometimes I'll leave pieces alone, and others I'll go to the point of toning.Collection of other sketches done. Is interesting how sometimes I'll leave pieces alone, and others I'll go to the point of toning.0 Comments 0 Shares 23 Views

A character sort of penned originally when playing with shape, posing. Personally feel the initial line piece worked out better, in posing terms, but playing with colour was still useful for the later inked piece made of her.A character sort of penned originally when playing with shape, posing. A piece did when felt inspired to take a stab at sketching a minotaur-type character. Perhaps a little overdone on colour or such elements, but I think the fur texture worked alright, and her hooves seem about right.A piece did when felt inspired to take a stab at sketching a minotaur-type character. Deity of Identity, Beauty, Change, Mystery
Some beings arise from fundamental forces, but Kaleid arose as result of the notion that beauty is subjective, existing in the eye of the beholder. The most typical depiction is of a great crystalline being, that shifts and changes perpetually: looking into Kaleid's myriad facets is to be met with reflections of the various ways a person could be, or appear. Yet Kaleid encourages and fosters a desire for community in their followers, as beauty requires others to be recognised at all.
Their sacred animal is the butterfly, and thus are often reared and tended to in their temples on Vaekos.Deity of Identity, Beauty, Change, Mystery Some beings arise from fundamental forces, but Kaleid arose as result of the notion that beauty is subjective, existing in the eye of the beholder. Goddess of Love, Oaths, Memories, Loyalty
Yuhali is, at her core, a goddess that holds domain over connections with others and considers meaningful connection an integral part of life: her Chthonic realm proudly displays tapestries woven from the memories of the dead as they pass to their final judgement in her father's court, encouraging people to live sincerely and to the fullest.
Due to her influence, pacts or contracts may invoke Yuhali or her sacred spiders to underscore the seriousness or sincerity when undertaken. Lovers who find spider silk on each other are often considered especially blessed, marriage ceremonies employing ribbons or knitted cords to emphasise the union.

Yuhali is one of the deities for a homebrew Pathfinder 2E setting I'm working at, and whilst I want to revist her with pen, I do still like the final result with this piece and how I balanced the spider elements. Versions of her being more spider-like mostly being a question on how/where to arrange the additional limbs but hopefully can keep the same spirit.Goddess of Love, Oaths, Memories, Loyalty Yuhali is, at her core, a goddess that holds domain over connections with others and considers meaningful connection an integral part of life: her Chthonic realm proudly displays tapestries woven from the memories of the dead as they pass to their final judgement in her father's court, encouraging people to live sincerely and to the fullest. Having a fondness for masks, sometimes like to explore using them for pattern pieces. Nothing else, good opportunity to make use of the geometry set.Having a fondness for masks, sometimes like to explore using them for pattern pieces. God of Revolution, Liberty, Hope, Ingenuity
Originally a mortal tengu, Asakura began his life a subject of the despotic Tyrothis, the former protector spirit of the tengu who had grown increasingly fixated on being worshipped over all others. Seeking freedom, Asakura and the other tengu managed to overthrow and banish the fallen god, working from then on to establish a more egalitarian future for their people.
When Asakura finally went to see his final judgement, he was surprised to find himself before Aevari, not Vyrenu: with deep praise, she told the confused spirit she looked forward to working alongside them, in his capacity as protector deity of the Tengu, the prayers and love of his people having facilitated his ascension. Since then Asakura has endeavoured to mitigate the efforts of the fell gods, his mortal agents serving under the title of "Asakura's Feathers".

Another of homebrew deities made for Pathfinder 2E, I like how overall well the posture, colouring and sense of depth came out with this piece. Whilst I do need to figure out better approach to feathers, it's still a good resultGod of Revolution, Liberty, Hope, Ingenuity Originally a mortal tengu, Asakura began his life a subject of the despotic Tyrothis, the former protector spirit of the tengu who had grown increasingly fixated on being worshipped over all others. The second time revisting Orelia, this time using ink pens for colour. Posing feels better than the pencil coloured piece, though I may have over done it with the metallic pens (they were new).
As to the character herself:
Orelia hails from the desert nation of Deotra, working as a travelling performer in whatever villages, towns or cities she passes through. Kind, courteous and soft spoken Orelia always strives to give her best, regardless of the quality of stage or the size of her audience. The second time revisting Orelia, this time using ink pens for colour.
