Black and white study of a Borzoi I did to try and figure out how digital painting works. Still don't quite know what I'm doing but I think it turned out well.Black and white study of a Borzoi I did to try and figure out how digital painting works. A little style experiment I did with acrylic gouache and India ink. I kind of want to do a proper painting with this concept sometime soon.A little style experiment I did with acrylic gouache and India ink. A commission for the wonderful 86Eternity on Toyhouse (toyhou.se/86Eternity)
I had a whole lot of fun with this commission because the character is so well designed. Messing around with the shadows of the eyes and bracelets was an added bonus.A commission for the wonderful 86Eternity on Toyhouse (toyhou.se/86Eternity) I had a whole lot of fun with this commission because the character is so well designed. My first time drawaing a real furry. When I draw anthropomorphic animals like this I normally draw them more like they're drawn in BEASTARS, so with human hands and limbs. Normally because if I'm drawing stuff like that I'm intentionally trying to get that kind of uncanny valley appearance for horror purposes. However, since this was a commission I wanted to draw this in a more traditional manner. My first time drawaing a real furry.
