More oc references. This is Rhessyne (she/they), a half-fae witch/healer who owns a small farm and provides some herbs and minor remedies to a nearby village.

She's from the same story as my ocs, Oli (any pronouns, though mostly uses they/them) and Avon (he/him), who I have posted limited art of before. She's Oli's cousin on their fae side and Avon's gf.

Wanted to use this meme as an excuse to talk about my ocs and share/compare their old and new art ^^

Starting with Ebony <3

Ebony’s stayed roughly the same over the years, with his main change being the vibe of his wardrobe. Death Omens was actually set in a completely modern world originally and magic users didn’t lean into formal and/or old fashioned wear, so he got a simple hoodie and tall boots.

He’s much more dapper now, which fits his serious and academic vibes very well imo, but he’s always had his mainly grey color scheme, his eye covering, his long black hair pulled into a loose pony, and lack of smile.

The biggest change beyond his wardrobe is probably his staff. Originally the staff was meant to look like a twisty wizard’s staff, now its design is meant to look like a cross between a magic staff and a white cane.

Also more red accents to tie into Crow Family Colors.

I caved and made a Genshin Oc. Their alias is “The Vagabond” and I am struggling with finding a proper name for them.

A quiet, vision-less adventurer who can mostly be found in Liyue but does pop up in other nations. That’s the most basic summary I can give them.

The second half to my illustration final! I thought an eerie forest setting was fitting of the witch I designed ^^

Part 2 of Old-ish oc references that I touched up rather than redrawing!

This is Ebony Crow (he/him). He is quite the serious academic, a shadow witch, the reserved and quiet type, and much like his mother is a magical prodigy. Unlike his mother however, he has no interest in playing the role of socialite and networking with upper class witches. He'd much rather be away studying and researching than be at any social event.

Other important things to know: He is currently being manipulated by a dark force, one connected to his mother and the history of Death Omens. And he is very close with his sister, Thorne.

Quick run down of his runes (sigils):

Lock- Prevents anyone but the caster from opening or moving whatever the rune has been applied to.

Protection- Reinforces clothing against both (certain) magics and physical attacks.

Disruption- Disrupts (low level) magical eavesdropping, locating, and otherwise spying attempts.

Shock(?)- Still a bit unsure about this one, but if I keep it at "shock" then when activated it would emit a shock of electricity created by channeling the user's magic into storm magic.

First illustration project of the semester!!!!! <3 <3

The project was a bit of a free for all, but we had a list of prompts we could work with if we were struggling with ideas. I chose "A knight who has lost everything."

New ref for my oc Daemon Crow <3 the long lost member of the Crow triplets

Daemon (he/him) is a member of what is (currently) known as the Spectre Hunters, a small pocket of people who dedicate their lives to bringing spirits to peace and helping civilians with their issues with spirits, curses, and lesser demons. They also tend to take issue with the governments, specifically their ethics and deals with demons. They have a special set of tools and runes that they use for their work.

Daemon's a sweet, caring, and considerate guy. He's good with people and navigates social situations easily. He has a habit of "knowing things", and generally has pretty good intuition.

He got separated from his bio siblings when he was young, and has been out of contact with them ever since. He'll get the chance to meet them during the story, not to worries, though unfortunately its not under the best of circumstances.

He's connected to the following characters: Ebony Crow (brother), Thorne Crow (sister), and Salem Blair (mother)
