Ancient gods perhaps? A new world, or knowledge long lost? Are they worth the leap?
This marks the first step for me off the land of Nysera as far as worldbuilding goes. Something got into me that I had to draw something on a large scale, mysterious and intimidating, and ocean seemed to fit the bill.

I started this back in 2018. I'm glad I left it till now because I was not ready to finish it back then.
Sivra and Azuryt took a deep dive amongst the towering peaks. The gravity, along with the power of her expansive wings, propelled them forward, yet the defeaning wind fought against them; biting and pounding as the ground rushed towards them.

It was one of many concepts so far. I still haven't settled on final final but I enjoy drawing him slightly different each time for some reason. Kind of fits their nature

I wanted to try one of those night vision drawings for a while. It ended up quite fun as I have an easier time working with greyscale/monochrome and will probably do more in the future. Although it might seem scary, with their size you'd probably hear a nyfrit in the woods long before you saw it.

A piece dear to my heart. Somewhere along the way life got too much in the way of me pouring myself into those two. This is probably one of my more ambitious pieces in a while. I wanted to keep it a little rough around the edges and avoid the trap of overpolishing.
While a LOT of my work is more speculative or worldbuilding related this is one of few ACTUAL story illustrations I've made thus far. Leah and Odeius' first encounter, after she' becomes lost/on the run from her captors miles away from her city.
