Ribbon eels are a super recognizable and recognizable moray eel that're special enough they get their own lil scientific family dedicated to just them. They're one of those animals that transform from male to female through their life cycles. They're green as larva (who knew eels had larva?), black as juveniles and subadults, the color here as males, and mostly yellow with just a touch of blue as females. Holly is such a relatively simple but beautiful plant, all sharp edges and few colors. I've got two holly trees outside my apartment windows. They're a huge favorite among neighborhood birds when they've got berries, and I enjoy them too for their bright colors in winter. :> Neither they nor the southern magnolia also visible out my window lose their leaves in the winter. Mules are the babs of a mare and a jack- that is, a female horse and male donkey- and they're thought to be better than both horses and donkeys in pretty much every way. XD There isn't a lot of scientific documentation of it, but people who deal with them a lot think them smarter and sturdier than horses and faster and more agile than donkeys. They're usually sterile, but they also tend to be longer-lived than horses and donkeys both. :3 **Like what you see? The Thomson's gazelle was one of four animals available in the Zoo Tycoon 2 demo and that might've been my earliest introduction to them, and they were one of my favorite African animals available even if they were dirt common and got a bit outshined once the African Adventures expansion came out. The skyfish was a cryptid popular in the 90s.
