I wanted to try drawing a female character in this style and so Morrigan from Capcom's Darkstalkers it was. Fun character to draw! I wanted to make sure she had both a playful yet sinister vibe.
Made in Clip Studio Paint using my own custom brushes.

WHAT'S UP PEOPLE
I was doing a re-watch of Death Note after picking it up on Blu Ray, October happened, and what else can I say except that I got inspired.
It was fun interpreting these characters in this style I've been working on. Obviously, Ryuk was fun to draw, being a weird creature that I could exaggerate in a zany way. But even Light turned out recognizable enough while still being adapted into this style.

Bulkhead and Arcee from the Transformers Prime as they appear in the Legacy toy line. Drawn in my style with exaggerated proportions using my own custom brushes.Â
This took awhile! Maybe this is more detail than I should be doing. I'm going to refine things further moving forward. It was fun though.

I love Pikmin! It's been one of my favorite Nintendo franchises since it first debuted. I thought I would depict Captain Olimar in action, taking influence from his appearances in Super Smash Bros.
This is basically the same style I've been working in recently, but since Olimar is already a big headed character normally, I didn't have to reinterpret very much. The Pikmin themselves were fun to draw though.

I started with Leo, but of course I'm going to draw all 4 turtles based on the original action figures but in this exaggerated style.
At one point I thought I was done but had drawn his head WAY too big. Even for this style where it's supposed to be bigger than usual. I fixed it but I wonder if anyone can tell?
