After months of work I finally have a first working Metahuman model of Suraia. She is ready to be used with facial motion capture already. This model is the basis I can now use, work and improve upon.

I can’t wait to see how she grow from this to wherever I end up in the future.

I will also be using her a my virtual self from now on. At the moment I have her working as a simple VTuber model in Unreal. I am thinking of bringing her into VRChat some day. But before that I want to get her working in Helios, the Unreal version of VRChat.

If Eonil’s Suraia fully surrenders to the mysterious healing power inside of her she can potentially become one of the most powerful healers on the Xaverion Islands.

This doesn’t happen very often though as the act itself will completely drain the human woman. When it does however her markings and eyes will start to glow and she even sprouts wings of light.

This is the Eonil version of my OC Suraia, she is a human healer and part of a group which will be called Eonil’s outcasts.

I made a bit of progress on my Metahuman Suraia in Unreal Engine 5. Live link for face tracking is working and I managed to get some hair physics working as well.
Slowly my character and VTuber model is coming to live.

I know Halloween is already over but here is a render I made of my Eonil char Ray’ven to express what she thinks of Pumpkin season.

I made Ray’vens model myself but for her clothes I used an outfit texture from Sims4.

The hamer I made myself and the rest are models I downloaded from CGTraders. The scene is made in Blender.

Yesterday I registered here so I thought it was a good idea to write an introduction!

My name is Suraia Silverbell (on the internet anyways) and I’m a 3D artist working with Blender. I make my own 3D models in a semi realistic fantasy style which I want to use for VRChat/Helios VR, Dungeon Full Dive and the bring my own fantasy setting to life.

As such there sort of a two versions of Suraia. The first one is my internet alter ego: Suraia the 3D Artist and VTuber in the making. The second one is my fantasy Suraia living in the world of Eonil.

Eonil is my own fantasy setting which I want to look into converting to a D&D homebrew setting so interested people can use the setting in Dungeons & Dragons applications and tabletop such as Roll 20 and DFD.

Eonil is a high fantasy setting with several continents, one of which is Estonya where roughly 100 years ago a story took place that I made some day translate to English and publish on my website or something. But the D&D setting starts on the Xaverion Islands north of Estoyna where I plan to write out stories of two groups whenever I have time and feel like write rather than creating models and art.

The first group is known as Eonil’s Outcasts: a group of wandering people who are all for their own reasons outcasts of the Xaverion society. Suraia is the beating heard of this group and the story starts and revolves around her, everything that happens and had happened to her and those she seems along the way. Suraia is a shy and timid human woman but at the same time a very powerful healer. Yet her magic comes from an unknown source that many people on the Xaverion Islands consider to be heretical.

_The second group is the House of the Eternal Dawn. This is the mature themed part of the Eonil setting. Grov Dawnstrider is the lord and master of the House of the Eternal Dawn which is mostly known as a very luxurious house of pleasure. The house of the Eternal Dawn is in the eyes of those who heard of it famed for two things: It’s grans festivities like balls and nightly shows of burlesque and more and it’s ruthless Master of the House Grov with his Zero tolerance for violating consent. There have been clients killed on the spot for looking at his employees in a way that displeased the master or touching them without their approval. Still a less known fact of the House Dawnstrider is the Dawnstrider order who travels the Xaverion Islands in search of victims of the Rising Phoenix, a group known for everything non consent._

But now back to the real world. I am a wife and mother of two young children and two dogs. I volunteer at the school library and I have a part time job. This means that my time to work on things is at times extremely limited. But when I do have time I want to work on whatever I feel like at that moment.

Ooh and maybe worth noting: I’m Dutch so I live in Europe in the Amsterdam/Paris time zone. Also I’m autistic and this was me info dumping possibly way to much information here.

Suraia

Meet Gregory Octavius Dawnstrider, also known as Grov. Grov is the Master of House Dawnstrider and the estate known as the House of the Eternal Dawn. He is a High elf in my own Fantasy setting called Eonil.

As I am working on improving my model I used Sims4 Clothes to dress him so I could at least show the model. Everything else in this simple scene I made myself, all the textures for the background are prodecural or hand drawn using Sketchbook Pro.
I used Cycles in Blender to render out this image.

This is Thrisha, a close friend of Grov. You will mostly find her in his company teasing the lord of House Dawnstrider.

Everything in this scene I made myself using Blender and Sketchbook pro for the texture painting.
