Melissa Mistglade, the witch who dreamed of becoming a knight.
The main character of (tbn) Project Render.
Drawn in the style of a Tarot card. I thought it would be more fun to make my own Arcana for the fictional universe the comic takes place in. November 2022. A quick practice/study picture that I whipped together. I took a few pictures during a beach trip that I used as the basis for the colors and vegetation in this study.

A more modern piece.
I finally had a solid design for the Guardian (the big blue guy) and wanted to practice fully rendering him. There's parts that I think I could do better, (I think the contrast on the hand texture is a bit high, for example) but I like the pose and vibe. I had this image in the WIP graveyard and decided it was time to finish it recently. It’s a mix of newfound confidence and needing an outlet for my increasingly stressful day job.
As of writing (5/2/23) I’m using this as my desktop background.
Regardless of what happens in the future, things will eventually calm down, and I can continue working on Project Render.
One can hope.
