I was very inspired by Edo period Japan, in particular the Rinpa school of art (which I have always loved) both in the background and the calligraphy, and the geisha/oiran traditional makeup style. Since the artbook follows a similar vein, I thought it would be interesting to put her in an original design that reflected the Chaos element, and symbolized Rei’s predicament within the Chaos realm. Rei’s obi is undone, and has it’s own symbolism that adds to the story of the kimono (although it’s hard to see). Her makeup is inspired the Kyoto-based photo studio Esperanto Kokoro Kyoto Okazaki, which specializes in traditional geisha and oiran costuming and makeup. I gave Rei the more elaborate oiran makeup design (given the NSFW themes of the artbook), which make her face really glow :D. The gold calligraphy reads right-to-left the original poem written above.

In this story the Dragon (Jadeite) and the Phoenix (Mars) are entwined together and one will either take the other out of the darkness, or one will drag the other into the darkness. Done in both Clip Studio Pro and Photoshop 2022.

A drawing of Shitennou in their naked shower glory for an artbook I’m in the process of creating. Hopefully will be out by next year (2023), given life allows. Done in Clip Studio Pro.

This is a redo of an art I did back in 2010 titled Memories of Yesteryear, featuring Queen Serenity, and an OC I created that was her lover/late husband. The redo was a gift for a dear friend of mine, @teamvanessacloud, who wanted me to give the OC some life so I named him King Astraeus, the god of Dusk. This is a piece I did for [ArtimasStudio ](https://inkblot.art/profile/artimas) as a Spring Solstice thank you gift. This is Kunzite and Venus in a piece I named after the song in which the lyric is written, The One.

Venus and Kunzite float in a sensual embrace near Venus’s namesake planet during the Silver Millennium. Castle Magellan hovers high above, shining it’s ethereal light upon the passionate couple. A half-wreath of dahlias and roses, along with cosmic lights, surround the couple as they surrender themselves to each other.

A gift art (or a set of) I made in collaboration with @teamvanessacloud for the extraordinary mod @coppercrane2 for the Holidays. It was my first time using Clip Studio Paint Pro for an entire artwork, thanks to some new brushes I acquired. It's also my first time doing a composite art piece, which consisted of three separate art pieces combined into one.

Inspired by the Ottoman theme of the manga Yume no Shizuku, Rei is portrayed as an Ottoman sultana who falls in love with an official of her court, as portrayed by Jadeite. At least, that’s my interpretation of the events. I made the three artworks to be used as a composite for the final piece above. Fire and ice come together for some serious melting in the hot sands of the Sahara.
