• When the alarms struck high,

we knew we could not fly,

    when the drums were beating,

    never was our courage fleeting,

while flares and shells went arching.

    underneath, we were marching,

against machine gun spray and rifle rattle,

we charged forth into fiery battle,

against the foe from dusk till dawn,

and so suddenly many friends were gone,

yet drawing breath, on we went,

even after our cartridges were spent,

it came down to blades and bayonet thrusts,

    soon we became like a wind at gust;

    eventually we saw the sun,

although we weren’t sure if we lost or won,

but as we lit our last cigarettes

    and pondered triumphs and regrets,

we spared no cares for this nether,

    for we had fought it all together;

    however war is misbegotten,

we knew we wouldn’t be forgotten,

least of all by our brothers,

whom we loved like no others.

  • This is one of my first digital drawings of my third oldest OC, Inuo Ukallik! Originally, this art piece was called _Izumi Hunting In The Wilderness_ because back then, Inuo was named Izumi! The former name is also the inspiration for my username! But, changing my username now to _DreamerInuo_ doesn't roll off the tongue, does it?

    ------
    **Description**

His family sent Izumi for a weekly hunt. He has been doing it since he was 12. By then, he has a wide knowledge of the Yarrish landscape. Equipped with only his old Peronia Type 23 Rifle, he sets out in the freezing -45°C weather to find some animals to kill.

  • Another of my Star Wars FFG characters! Telthe was an explosives and munitions engineer on her home planet of Secundus Ando, a cog in the war machine of the Harch Empire. Until her team was wiped out by an explosion that left her with physical and mental shell shock. She never *quite* recovered, but deserted her post and went AWOL. Using her talent for explosives to make a living elsewhere, she was eventually approached by Naash, the Gotaal leader of a team of thieves that needed an explosives expert in their work for a Hutt crimelord.

Eventually, they were betrayed by the Hutt as well and left for dead. But the survivors, incuding Telthe and Naash, banded together to do one last job and empty the Hutt's vault of valuables. In doing so, they also betrayed Telthe and left her behind as the scapegoat. She was captured and held briefly by the Hutt before breaking out with a group of other prisoners.

She lost an arm and partial sight in one major eye due to a series of crits from a Gand Findsman we went up against. He was really good with that rifle.......

  • Another character, but she isn't composed of a specific shape. Trixie's sister likes her rifle as much as her family. Maybe someday I'll update both of their designs. Lainey looks a little stiff, and it's supposed to be based off a pose that for the life of me I couldn't find.

  • _In heraldry, an Urchin is a spiky creature, a hedgehog or porcupine. Yet the word "urchin" also stands for street urchins. The downtrodden and dejected of society._

A lot of things to unwrap here. There's the outfit, which is a modernized version of a traditional Javanese outfit, while the statue behind him is a Dwarapala, an ancient Hindu guardian statue. However, it is holding a modern assault rifle. And of course, not to mention the heraldic devices on the shield and the banners.

  • Hand drawn Ink art by William McAusland, writing by Colin Chapman

With their velvety fur, tiny eyes, squat builds, and overlarge shovel-like hands, bestial human moles are inoffensive, but this belies the fact that they are aggressive, constantly hungry omnivores who prefer a diet of meat.
They can make a bite attack (SV +8/ DMG 1d8 + Type A, paralysis venom) as well as use one-handed weapons, and unlike other bestial humans of their size, their over-large, calloused hands deliver normal punching damage, though they prefer to use their tough claws (SV +10/ DMG 1d8), and can combine them with their bite in a single flurry of attacks (SV +20/ DMG 3d8+venom). They are too small to use large two handed weapons such as halberds, pikes, chainsaws, battle axes, or great swords, or other sizable weapons though. Furthermore, firing a shotgun or high caliber rifle in the standing position will knock them back 1d3 meters onto their rump.

  • Bad bitch with a bad attitude, be careful when coming crossing paths with her in the galaxy, she could rob you blind or throw you into the vacuum of space itself if you don't cough up the cash! Though to be fair, a laser rifle to the chest still leaves you with the possibility of living, but I wouldn't take that chance if I were you!

  • Today's a break day for me, also because I don't really know how to progress things :p

So I decided to redesign Mea Culpa (got a feedback from a friend who knows about guns) and derive Whisper, Robyn's rifle version of Mea Culpa, from the new design.

Before this I was attempting to draw a perspective of a train in a curving tunnel (which was an abject failure) and Colonel (which was... a bit meh for me), probably would've fit this in an hour if I went straight to this gun.

  • Take a Steyr, take an SVD, mash 'em together, *et voilà*: the rifle of choice for the planet Sureya's desert nomads. I put this together in preparation for a roleplay interlude in Daftpanzer's *To the Great Beyond*, and the name is liable to change once I've figured out how the Sureyan calendar scales to Earth years.

Sureya's central wastes are home to countless nomadic tribes, who by virtue of the hostile environment have never been subjugated by the sedentary states. Though they lack the heavy arsenals of the polar standing armies, as individual fighters they are without peer, and using extensive tunnel networks can run proverbial circles around regular formations. While most of their equipment is battlefield salvage or obtained in caravan raids, the Type 90 is noteworthy for being home-made. Like its Soviet-side inspiration, the gun is built to weather extreme conditions and engineered for easy maintenance. The bullpup design makes it more concealable than comparable rifles while extending its effective range to almost three kilometres. For several decades it outclassed all but the most sophisticated state sniper kits, and was significantly easier to use. Polar troops nicknamed it the 'Plague Gun' for the sneezing sound it makes when fired.

**N.B.:** I know next to nothing about firearm engineering, so don't ask about specs.
