Nicolas stepped outside his pet store mumbling to himself about how hot it was today. Of all the days to have to do a full clean on the reptile cages, he had to pick the day with triple digit temperatures! As he busied himself taking out several bags of dirty bedding and towels, he caught something out of the corner of his eye. Paling a little, he realized what he saw was not human. He had no idea what it was but tossed the trash as quickly as possible and then double-timed it back to his store... But before he could get there, something popped and whizzed passed his shoulder. He spun around to see a Rifter staring him down from about 100 feet away. He jumped into his shop and slammed the door, panicking a moment before he realized he should transform and take care of the Rifter before anyone got hurt. Transforming, he steeled himself for a battle he didn't want to have on this boiling hot day... Stepping back outside the shop, Hydrus looked around to see some people in the distance walking on the crosswalk... but no Rifter. Kind of relieved, he turned to go back to his shop when he felt himself crumple to the ground, arms catching a leg and foot in his abdomen. Looking up, he saw her, Lilium the Rifter, curling her lips into a devious smile. He pushed back against her leg and did his best to stand up, but the kick to his stomach caused him to take a knee. Flying back in with guns blazing, Lilium took aim but just before she could shoot, Hydrus had her by the arm and landed a punch to her face, knocking her back for a moment. Then Hydrus, seizing the opportunity, stared at Lilium with his Petrifying Gaze and temporarily petrified her. With her stopped for the moment, he gritted his teeth and stood up, the pain from his stomach screaming at him... He coughed and then screamed out, "Hydro Serpent Slap!" A water snake arose from behind him and just as the petrification wore off, Lilium was tumbled backwards from the force of Hydrus' attack. When the water cleared, Lilium was gone... Ladies and gentleman, i want to present you my very first own Original character: Antony the Hybrid! He was created in 2012 and i started my carreer as illustrator with him and he was (and he still is) my "mascotte". It was some times that i didn't draw anything with him... i was even making a comic but unfortunatly i lost interest in the project. But i never forget him, especially because it was thanks to him that i discover the joy of drawing. Here's some info, all taken from my story idea: 1.) Antony is a white shark-lizard hybrid. Hidryd are like mixed race people, but very rarely to see and they appareance become very different during the growth, making them not so similar to their parents. Originally, his reptile heritage was a common australian lizard, now he is an half a bearded dragon lizard. 2.) He is a cinammon roll. His best friends calls him a "disney princess" because sometimes act likes one (he hate the surname). He is a disaster with any kind of sport, suffer of claustrophobia and have an intolerance for mushroom. 3.) Their parents have him very youngs, but never treated him like an accident or worse. They loved him very much, even if he is born different. He have 2 brothers and 1 little sister: Daliah (10 years old) and the twins Manuel and Rafael (16 years old). Antony is 28 years old (birthday is June 14th). 4.) Maybe for a human he is not special.... but for the animal females, he is beautifull as a model. You can see him, most of the times, chased by a horde of women. the reason of such "success" is still unknow. Thanks God, he have a girlfriend to defend (and save) him. 5.) he is studying to become a psychologist. 6.) He is very good at sing.

I've wanted to draw other prehistoric creatures from the past. Don't worry though, I'm still gonna draw more dinosaurs, but I want to try drawing other reptiles from the eras before time. Like the Dimetrodon, and Titanoboa, the mega snek above. And I'll probably draw prehistoric mammals, like the Mammoth, the Megatherium, and the Smilodon, also known as the Sabre-Tooth Cat. So, the Titanoboa, or Titanic boa, was a very large prehistoric snake that lived during Paleocene epoch, around 60 to 58 million years ago, which was after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Titanoboa cerrejonensis, which was discovered in 2009, is the largest snake ever discovered, and was the only known species. The discovery of skull bones revealed that he was specialized in hunting fish, despite many claimed that the snake was an apex predator, like the modern day anaconda. So I guess Titanoboa lived near water where he can prey on fish, and other undersea life.

Here's some sketches of my oc/avatar and a little character lore! Nysereus (Nye-sear-e-us), is a shadow entity and Queen of V̷̹͌͜I̸̛͙ͅO̸̲͖͊Ţ̷͐͘Ḣ̸̼̰̔H̵͇̪̚A̷͉̓̈́L̶̡͐̎N̴͖̜͋̈́N̷͖̠͐͝Ō̶͇S̷͓̈͛ where it and all flora and fauna are cloaked under deep purple shade and stars. While her dimension is lush with the darkness she loves, she has taken quite a liking to that of the human world and travels there often--donning the name 'Nocturnum/Nocturne' as well as animal hides/pelts. She has a fascination for any animals she comes across (especially reptiles, bats, and bears). And while she loves to hunt and collect the pelts, scales, and bones, Nysereus only takes what she intends to use or eat. Her ever growing collection is well taken care of (she is proud to show it off!). One of her favorite being the bear skull on her head, adorned with violet leaves from her dimension. Along with collecting, she takes up drawing in her spare time. Whether it be in the walls of one of her many temporary trees/caves across the world, back in her own dark sanctuary, or on a canvas, you can find her scrawling on something. She might even draw for you (if you're willing to pay the right price with some blood bones)! Potion making is another of her many hobbies, as if botany in her own dimension wasn't enough, plants in the human world certainly strike her interest (despite her complaints about how small most are). Human technology and games seems to pique her curiosity--nothing like the magic she's used to, but they seem fun! Able to shapeshift her body as she chooses--her true monstrous form unknown to most. Nysereus seems to enjoy spooking random passerby in the dark, occasionally taking on the form of various animals or creatures (albeit with a more eerie look) or conjuring ghostly wisps. While this is a harmless prank of hers, she saves the much meaner ones for those who don't respect nature. So be careful if you don't clean up your trash, she might shift the forest around on you (or worse..)! Otherwise, while Nysereus looks mean/creepy, she's curious and friendly to most who happen upon her.

Family: Principal Kong(grandfather) and Aruem Kwon(twin sister) Personality: He always hits on Hana which she finds annoying but that's just encourages him even more. Acts noble around his grandfather. He too likes to uses his family wealth and influences to get what he wants and what he wants right now is to add Hana to his collection of girlfriends. He's head of the school community, captain of the boy's sports teams, and president of the Young Entrepreneur's Club.
