* im not used to do paintings so im pretty happy with this piece

Here's the latest of my series of paintings or drawings featuring dragons interacting with aircraft. It's a theme that charms me! In this case our orange friend is startled by a Cessna 152 or similar, but luckily there was no collision. Perhaps a well-fertilized field far below and no more.

From Eurofurence I brought home commission work. That included three pencil drawings and two paintings, one in watercolor and one in gouache.

This is the first, of two drawings for Yaron. For both I went with the convention theme, Tortuga.

I'm trying to make money off my art, and I need your help.

I work for a generally good company. The work is easy, if tedious, and the pay isn't amazing but it covers my bills.

But, at the end of the day, they are a company, and no company will be nice forever. Shortly after the founder of the company retired and someone new took over, they've started stripping back benefits, starting with no more working from home. I live almost an hour away from the office! Can't do it.

And so, I'm turning to you, Internet. I will be selling paintings for the time being, and once I get my drawing tablet up and running again, I'll open commissions.

Hopefully between this and getting the farm up and running I can quit working for other for good.
