Letting out an exasperated sigh, Luna let herself flop onto her bunk, burying her face in her pillow. After going to the gym for a record-making five minutes, she had already given up. It wasn’t that she was too weak or too lazy to make use of it. On the contrary, it was the opposite: she was far too strong for her own good!
Ever since she and her crewmates had encountered that cloud of strange radiation, Luna’s muscle mass had been rapidly growing. Hell, in the first week since the exposure, she had grown from a moderately athletic woman to being on par with most bodybuilders, and male bodybuilders no less! Standing around 1.85 meters tall and weighing in at 115 kilos, she was built like a tank, something that she was equal parts impressed by, and embarrassed about, especially since the amount of fitting clothes she had was decreasing by the day.
Putting aside her self-pitying, Luna crawled back out of her bunk and stretched. Maybe the weights being so light was just her imagination, so another round at the gym wouldn’t hurt, right? Giving her arms a quick flex, her eyes widened as she watched her softball-sized biceps bulge, faint veins appearing along their peaks. If she could easily lift more than her bodyweight, she resolved to herself, then she’d have to replace her entire weight set before they’d become light as feathers in her grip.
Sadly for her, most of the lighter weights were, in fact, light as feathers. Every one she tried so far felt like nothing in her grip, though she could still feel her arms pump with each disappointingly resistance-free rep. Still though, all that was left was lifting that barbell, and silently praying for a challenge, she wrapped her hands around it and started to lift. Her biceps swelled up and her thighs surged with beef as she hoisted it off the ground. Her pecs pulsed and her lats flared out as she brought it up to her chest. It was still quite easy to lift, but by now, Luna was lost in the feeling of her muscles pumping with power. Veins twitched across her body as she lifted it higher and higher, and with a roar of victory, the barbell was soon over her head. But then…
*SNAP!*
Luna could feel her face go scarlet as she felt the air brush against her now exposed chest. It was one thing for her to casually hoist up 170 kilos worth of weight without even breaking a sweat, the fact that her sports bra snapped thanks to her wing-like lats was something else. Her pecs throbbed with power as she gingerly placed the barbell down before she snatched up a towel as fast as she could, her face beet-red as she could feel her muscles pulsate, hungry for more might. Sure, it felt incredible to feel her muscles ripple when she did that, but her modesty is going to be ruined if she keeps busting out of her clothes like this!
