Flying back to the airship that was basically a yacht, she landed on the deck with Eri and Ravi. “My darlings, did you miss me?”

Eri looked at Annaerlitha, sensing she was hiding something. “What do they have that you want so much, Naerli?”

“Some things are best left unsaid about them and their private little villa,” Annaerlitha replied. “I’m sure our friend Comandante Luis is enjoying his stay as much as I did last time I was there.”

“As a guest?” Eri asked with some concern in his voice.

“More or less, it was from an invitation by my dear uncle Frabritheo.”

“From him? I never liked the bastard,” Ravi interjected.

“You think he’ll enjoy being stuffed in the cargo hold?” Eri mused, as a bloody ichor burst from his left hand congealing into a pair of twisted strands that tightened till it solidified into the form of a rapier with a red blade.

“I’ll make sure he’ll have a pleasant stay with us.”

Eri and Ravi watched as she flew close to the ground. As Annaerlitha approached the entrance to the villa, Eri tore open a shadowy rift with his blade bringing Ravi through with him.

Ravi prepared with shield forward and his tulwar in at the ready as he walked through the rift, spotted about eight soldiers scrambling around the grounds readying their muskets.

Annaerlitha flew over the wall of villa’s grounds, casting one of her more powerful spells. With an incantation and a circular cut of her athame, she invoked a blast of elemental cold freezing those same eight soldiers.

One of them was not completely frozen, so Eri quickly unleashed two bolts of eldritch energy as he emerged from the rift. Eri guessed that a Dwarf armed with a pistol and a battleaxe was the Comandante’s bodyguard.

Ravi hissed and ejected a stream of venom at a soldier not caught in Annaerlitha’s spell. Eri lunged through one soldier with green flames around his blade while Annaerlitha dispatched another with a ray of frost.

Left standing in the aftermath was Comandante Luis, an Orc armed with a sabre and a revolver, and his Dwarven body guard.

Ravi charged at the bodyguard taking a few swings at the Dwarf who parried each blow with his axe. The bodyguard countered Ravi’s next exchange making a superficial cut on his sword arm. The two fought as Luis tried to take some shots at Annaerlithai and Eri.

Eri vanished in a cloud of black smoke, reappearing behind the Dwarf with his blade embedded. Ravi finished off the bodyguard, as spectral vipers coiled around his Tulwar’s blade.

Annaerlitha invoked the power of nightmares that tore at Luis as he panicked. Luis tried to run away, but Ravi called upon the powers from his oath to the Naga Kings to summon spectral snakes to bind the Comandante.

“Please stop! I surrender!” Comandante Luis screamed.

“That’s the smart thing to do my dear Luis,” Annaerlitha smiled as she approached.

one of my favorite character pieces, references save lives I tell ya, that pose was super cool looking I snatched it right up and just changed the arms positions + tail cuz ref was just a fanart of phos from hnk which I cant find the creator of ;_; , he's kinda a gijinka of Milotic but I think I'll just make it that his tail patters have different effects when in attack, defense or speed modes cuz I think a gold fish marking on the tail would look suber cool ont he lower half.
He's outfit is a sentient "symbiote/venom" style ooze which can haste him which is indicated by the hood spliting into those 4 ribbons, the eye pattern also becomes actual eyes.

The general vibe I just wanted a character that looked like he's from Devil may cry but elegant af.

I just really like drawin venom.

Only thing that changed about him is his tail really. Everything else basically stayed the same.

Today's theme is Poisonous, and I always had the idea that it should be partially organic. This might be more of a dagger than a sword, but I've drawn battleaxe and chakrams so why not?

Sidenote, I find the Dagger of Venom in 5e to be rather underwhelming. 1/day poison damage for a Rare weapon? Need a bit of a buff, ngl.

Finally got around to coloring in this sketch I made in summer 2022, this was a traditional drawing. Just extracted lines to save time, I am *kind of* happy with this though the design is blinding and unappealing. There is something so nostalgic about it though, so I haven't redesigned the colors. This character was designed in 2016, here are some facts child me wrote:

INFO:

- Line patterns are small details on the creature's shell. They are more for design and texture, an example would be the spiral markings on the shell of a snail.

- Legs across the belly have the ability to fold up or extend out, they resemble the legs of a Hermit crab. They are there to aid with movement and help Iztlacoatl climb up steep surfaces.

- Spots with fluorescent yellow coloration are soft and more vulnerable than other parts of the shell, including the horn. The shell there also secretes a sweet smelling mucus through tiny pores in the shell's structure, these pores weaken the shell and cause it to crack easily in those spots. Mucus is probably to attract prey.

- Iztlacoatl does have a mouth but it is hidden. Their mouth folds up into their upper jaw, it is thought that this is to protect their mouth & keep parasites from entering. In order to see their mouth effectively you would have to either lift their head or wait for them to open it.

- The shell contains a venomous substance which, causes vital organs to shut down and turns blood into jelly. If fragments of shell are broken and enter your skin or if you are stabbed by a piece of shell [Since the edges are very sharp] you risk organ failure and death.

- Pinchers are very strong and help Iztlacoatl lift prey twice their weight, they also help with carrying prey to their nest for later. The pinchers cannot close all of the way and will always remain somewhat open. These resemble a centipede.

- Iztlacoatl's element alignment is electricity.
